Introduction
The OREI XD-990 converts 480I(NTSC)/576I(PAL) format signal to 720P/1080P HDMI signal output 50 or 60hz.
Overall Function:
- HDMI Output: Connect to HD TV or HD projector using an HDMI cable HDMI Output format:720P@50/60Hz, 1080P@50/60HZ Audio Output Format: Digital Coaxial Audio or 3.5mm Analog Stereo Audio
- CVBS Input: Connect electronics with composite connection (RED, WHITE, YELLOW Jacks)CVBS input format: PAL/NTSC_M/NTSC4.43/SECAM/PAL-M/PALN
- HDMI input format: 480I/576I/480P/576P/720P@50_60Hz/1080I@50_60Hz/1080P@50_60Hz Compatible with several DVI format: 800X600, 1024X768, 1280X1024, 1360X768, 1680X1050 1920X1080 etc.
- 3.5mm audio interface: Connect with an analog audio amplifier or headphones input interface
- Digital coaxial output: Connect with a digital audio amplifier.

Troubleshooting:
1. PROBLEM: NO PICTURE POSSIBLE CAUSE
Set on Incorrect Input Type SOLUTION:
Press the CVBS/HD button once and wait a second then press it again. The video
converter shows the current input selection when you press it once and then
when you press it again it switches to the next input mode from CVBS to HD or
vice versa.
POSSIBLE CAUSE: Set on Incorrect Resolution
SOLUTION: Press the 720p/1080p button once and wait a second then press
it again. The video converter shows the current resolution selection when you
press it once and then when you press it again it switches to the next
resolution.
POSSIBLE CAUSE: Set on Incompatible HD signal
SOLUTION : Press the PAL/NTSC button once and wait a second then press it
again. The video converter shows the current HD signal selection when you
press it once and then when you press it again it switches to the next
resolution.
Note: You’ll not see anything on the screen if the current output signal
is compatible with your display.
