TandyPro 3796-01 DELUXE LEATHER SPLITTER

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

1. Before using the splitting machine, make sure that it is securely fastened to your work surface.
   The blade should be facing away from yourself.

2. To insert leather into the machine, loosen the locking screw and pull the handle towards yourself.

3. To set the machine to skive a constant thickness use the adjustment screws on the top of the machine.

4. Once the leather has been inserted into the machine, push the handle forward while pulling the
   leather towards you.

5. When the blade has reached the desired depth, use the locking knob on the side of the machine
   to lock the roller in place.

6. Pull the leather through until it is skived.

7. To skive a feathered edge, back the set screws all the way up and pull the leather through the machine while pushing the handle forward.

WARNING: Shear hazard; moving parts can crush and cut. Keep hands clear during operation; do not operate with the guard removed. This product is not intended for use by children; adult supervision required

Manufacturer warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of 6-months from the purchase date.
