PARTS DESCRIPTION

  1.  Blades
  2. Combs 1 to 4
  3. On/off switch
  4. Blade lever

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Check the clippers, making sure that they are free of hair and lint. Clean it with the supplied cleaning brush and spread a drop of oil on the blades.
  • Use the device only on dry hair.

USE

  • The following table provides which comb you need to cut the desired lengths.

  • To put the comb down, hold the comb with teeth up and push the comb firmly against the blade side.
Comb 1 leaves hair approx. 0.3 cm. in length.
Comb 2 leaves hair approx. 0.6 cm. in length.
Comb 3 leaves hair approx. 0.9 cm. in length.
Comb 4 leaves hair approx. 1.2 cm. in length.

  •  At the beginning, cut only a small amount of hair until you become accustomed to the length. Each comb leaves the hair. It is suggested to try the longest comb 4 on the clipper first, then use a another comb if the desired length is shorter. For uniform cutting, never push or force the clipper through the hair at a fast rate

  • Start by combing the hair in its natural direction, place the largest, attachment comb onto the clipper and start by trimming the sides from the bottom upwards. Hold the clipper lightly against the hair with teeth of the attachment comb pointing up.
Slowly lift the clipper up and outward through the hair, cutting only a small amount at a time. Repeat around sides and back of head.

Use blade lever

  • The allows you to gradually change the closeness of your cut without an attachment comb. When the lever is in the uppermost position, the blades will give you the closest cut and leave the hair very short. Pushing the lever downward gradually increases the cutting length. In its lowest position, the lever will leave the hair approximately the same

  • Always remove the plug from the outlet first. After each use, remove any hair with the cleaning brush and spread one or two drops of oil on the blades. Use only acid-free oil as supplied. Unscrew the blades regularly and remove all hair trimmings. When replacing the blades make sure that they are properly adjusted. The blades are adjusted as follows:

  • Screw the blades back on the clippers, but do not turn the screws tightly yet.

  • Turn the blade lever to the side downward.
Shift the top blade until it is even (parallel) with the bottom blade and be sure that the two blades are about 1.2mm (1/32 inch) apart.

  • Now tighten screws firmly and make sure that the blades cannot shift.

  • Clean the outside of the clipper with a clean soft, damp cloth. Never immerce the device in water or other liquid.Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Brush the blades using the cleaning brush to remove any hair.
  • After each use it’s recommended to oil the trimmer blades with the supplied oil.
