Important Notes
- Do not install the batteries before installing the lock!
- Install and test the lock with the door open to avoid being locked out.
- Please follow the instructions in sequential order.
- Please read all the instructions before contacting customer support.
- You must use 3 AAA Alkaline Batteries, do not use Lithium or Rechargeable Batteries.

Preparing the Door
Confirm the following dimensions.
- The thickness of the door is between 1-1/8″~2-61/64″ (30-75mm).
- The diameter of the hole is 1-7/8″(48mm).
- The backset is either 2-3/8″ or 2-3/4″ (60mm or 70mm).
- The diameter of the hole in the door edge is 1″ (25.5mm).
Installing latch and strike

Step 1. Optional: Remove your current lock.
If you are installing your Yeeuu S170 Smart Lock on a door with an existing lock, please remove the current strike and latch. -
Step 2. Install the lock body.
Install the single latch lock body on the door, make sure the latch angle faces the door jam. -
Step 3. Install the strike.
Install the strike on the door frame, ensuring the strike will match the latch.
Installing the Lock
- Step 1. Install the front lever.
- Place the 2 connecting rod bolts on the front lever, assemble the front lever on the door, make sure the fingerprint area is facing upwards.
- Optional: Affix the included front cover plate behind the front lever if there is a gap due to a large borehole.
- Step 2. Align the front and back lever.
- Align the spindle with the slot in the latch , slide it into the front lever.
- Secure the rear cover with 2 screws, choose the A/B/C screws according to the thickness of your door, do not tighten the screws yet.

- Optional: Affix the included back cover plate behind the rear cover if there is a gap due to a large bore hole.
- Insert the auxiliary ring into the hole, adjust the spindle to the right direction.
- Tighten the screws, take out the auxiliary ring.
- Step 3. Install the back lever.
- Put the spring in the back cover, align the spindle and insert it in.
- Pull out the rear konb in the back lever, secure the back lever with 2 lever screws.
- Insert the rear konb into the front lever. Twist the back lever, see if can rotate neatly.
- Step 4. Install the batteries.
- Take off the cover on the front lever and the battery cover, install 3 AAA alkaline batteries.
- Wait for the LED light to turn on, put the battery cover and the front cover back.
Testing the Lock
PLEASE NOTE: Please test the lock-in DEFAULT MODE.
- Twist the front lever, the latch should retract smoothly, if it doesn’t, please follow the instructions carefully and repeat the installation.
- Input any fingerprints, the LED light should blink green, the lock can be opened.
- Input the default password 123456, the LED light should blink green, the lock can be opened.
Connect app

Step 1
Make sure the lock is in Factory Default Mode. Search and download “Yeeuu” in App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). -
Step 2
Sign in to your existing Yeeuu account, or create an account by choosing “Register”. -
Step 3
Turn on the Bluetooth on your smartphone, stay near the lock (within 10 feet / 3 meters) and search the lock in the App. -
Step 4
Pair the New Device by tapping the “Add Device” or the “+” button on the top right-hand corner. -
Step 5
Choose “Add Manually” or “Auto Scan” , choose “Yeeuu S1 Smart Lock”, the lock will blink blue light and buzz when paired.
In-app set up
PLEASE NOTE: Make sure the Bluetooth on your smartphone is on, and stay near the lock (within 10 feet / 3 meters).
Fingerprint Setting
- Step 1. Select the device on the “Home” page and go to “ Set” page.
- Step 2. Tap “Fingerprint Management” on the top left-hand corner, and choose “ Add fingerprint”.
- Step 3. Select the user you would like to add fingerprint and tap “ Start Collecting”.
- Step 4. Put your finger on the identification area to capture your fingerprints for 8 times.
Password Setting
Password Touch board: 0-9, ( is the confirm key. ) Permanent password: 6-10
numbers, valid until you delete.
Step 1. Select the device on the “Home” page and go to “ Set” page.
Step 2. Tap “Password Management” on the top right-hand corner, and choose “
Add password”.
Step 3. Select the user you would like to add permanent password and set the
password
Time-code password:
One-time password
6-10 numbers, set the start and end time for one-time use.
Periodic password
6-10 numbers, set a scheduled time for routine visit.
Dynamic password
10 numbers, can be generated offline, valid within 5 minutes.
Anti-peep password
unlimited number + permanent password + up to 9 numbers.
NFC Card Setting
- Step 1. Select the device on the “Home” page and go to “ Set” page.
- Step 2. Tap “NFC Card Management” on the left-hand corner, and choose “ Add NFC Card”.
- Step 3. Select the user you would like to add NFC Card, and tap “ Start Collecting”.
- Step 4. Put the card on the identification area , wait for the LED light to blink green and buzz.
Smart Phone Unlock
- Step 1. Select the device on the “Home” page and click in.
- Step 2. Tap “Click to Unlock” , and choose “ Confirm” to unlock.
In-app Management
Alarm Record
Check the unusual attempts of the lock in “Alarm”.
Opening Record
Check the lock and unlock records in “ Opening Record.”
Members
PLEASE NOTE: In the Yeeuu App, 20 families can be created. The family
creator is who registers in Yeeuu App originally, each “Family” can only have
one “ Own-er”.
- The “Owner” is the person who creates the “Family” , owns the device and manages “Admin”, “Family Member” and “Others”.
- The “Admin” can control all lock settings, view alarm/opening records, manage other members.
- The “Family Member” has limited access towards the lock, who can unlock via fingerprint, password, NFC card or App, but has no permission to remove the device.
- “Others” has limited access only when “Owner”, “Admin”, “Family Member” share the permission to use the device.
Optional, after connecting with H1 Wi-Fi bridge, you can only add “Admin” or “ Family Member” to share the permission to use the device.
Reset the Lock
PLEASE NOTE: All data will be erased if you reset S170 to FACTORY DEFAULT settings.

Step 1
Select the device on the “Home” page and click “ ” on the top right-hand corner. -
Step 2
Tap “Remove Device”—-“Disconnect and wipe data” , confirm the choice.
Lock Status
Different lock status.
Low battery status: Yellow light blink 2 times.
Operation Failed: Red light blink 2 times, buzz 2 times. Error Lock:
Red light blink 5 times.
Unlock Status
After turn on the unlock status, the lock will stay unlocked until you turn it
off.
Turn On: +111+ +Admin Permanent Password(White Light blink)+ Turn Off: +222+
