Battery assembly

Battery Size: 4 x C(LR14) 1.5V Batteries (not included )
Install batteries if you need to use this swing away from an outlet. We recommend using Alkaline batteries for longer battery life. Jool-Product-

  • Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door with a screwdriver (not included) and remove the battery compartment door.
  • Insert four C(LR14) alkaline batteries into the battery compartment.
  • Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw.

Note: Low battery power may cause product movement to slow, sound and lights to become faint, or the product to turn off altogether. If this should happen, use the AC adaptor as a power source or replace the batteries.

  • If this product begins to operate erratically, you may need to reset the electron­ics. Do this by turning the power off and then back on.

Swing control plate instructions

  • Power On/Off: Press button to power on the swing. The power light turns green when the swing is powered on. Press again to turn it off.
  • 5 Natural Sounds: Press button to play. Press again to move to next sound. Press and hold for 3-5 seconds to turn off playback.
  • 5 Speeds: Press button to start from 1st speed. Press again to move to next speed. Each speed has a unique light. Press and hold for 3-5 seconds to turn off swinging.
  • Timer: There are 3 timer settings: 8 mins, 15 mins, and 30 mins. Press the button to alternate between timer options. Each timer has a unique light.
  • Song Selection: Press the button to start from one melody. Press again to move to next song. Press and hold for 3-5 seconds to turn off playback.
  • Volume+/-: Press these to adjust the volume of songs.

WARNING
Prevent serious injury or death from falls or strangling in the restraint system:

  • Always use the restraint system.
  • Discontinue use when an ctive child attempts to climb out.
  • This product is not intended to replace a crib or bassinet for prolonged periods of sleep.

Never leave a child unattended. Do not use this product once your child can sit up unaided or weighs more than 9kg.
Adult assembly is required.
Tools needed for assembly: Screwdriver (not included).
Requires four C (LR14) ALKALINE batteries for operation (not included).
Requires an AC adaptor (input 100-240VAC,50/60Hz, with an output of SVDC) for operation (included).
Always use the swing where there is adequate ventilation. Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
To prevent overheating, keep the swing away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, direct sunlight, stoves, amplifiers, or other appliances which produce heat. No open flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
Never use extension cords with the AC adaptor.
Never use the swing near water (ie.: bathtub, sink, laundry tub or wet basement, etc.). The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing liquids. No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
Do not connect the swing to more than the recommended number of power supplies.
The product must only be used with the recommended AC adapter.
The AC adapter is not a toy.
Disconnect the AC adapter from the swing before cleaning.
The plug of the appliance shall remain readily operable.
The external flexible cable or cord of this transformer cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the transformer should be discarded.
Product features and decorations may vary from photographs.
Do not let your child play with this product.
Do not move or lift this product with the baby inside it.
Never use this product on an elevated surface (e.g. a table)
Always use on a flat, level floor.
Do not use this appliance in tropical climates.

Care and maintenance

Unbuckle the restraint system. Remove the pad from the seat frame Machine wash or hand wash the pad in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Dry naturally. To clean the seat, restraint system, and motorized frame, use a mild cleaning agent and damp cloth. Rinse with clean water to remove residue. Please clean, maintain and check this product regularly. Periodically check the swing for loose fasteners or broken parts and tighten as needed. If using this product with an AC adapter, periodically examine the AC adapter for damage to the cord, housing or other parts that may result in the risk of fire, electric shock or injury. If the AC adapter is damaged,do not use the product with the AC adapter; use batteries as the power source. Do not use the product if any components are broken or missing. Do not use accessories or replacement parts other than those approved by the manufacturer. The infant swing must only be used with the recommended transformer. To avoid injury, ensure that children are kept away when unfolding and folding this product. Transformers and power supplies for toys are not intended to be used as toys.

For safe battery use

Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed REMOVE EXHAUSTED BATTERIES FROM THE PRODUCT. RECOMMENDED TYPE BATTERIES: ALKALINE DISPOSABLES, SIZE c (LR14). Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal. Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as from sunlight, fire or the like.

FALL HAZARD: Infants have suffered head injuries falling from swings.

  • STOP using the product when infant begins to push up on hands and knees
  • Always provide the supervision necessary for the continued safety of your child.
    When used for swinging, never leave child unattended.

SUFFOCATION HAZARD:
Infants have suffocated: on pillows, comforters and extra padding in gaps between a wrong-size mattress, or extra padding and product sides

  • NEVER add soft bedding or padding.
    Use ONLY mattresses provided by the manufacturer. (Note: This statement is required only for products that must use the manufacturer’s provided mattress).

FALL and STRANGULATION HAZARDS: Infants have suffered head injuries falling from swings and have strangled in straps.

  • ALWAYS use restraints. Adjust to fit snugly.
  • STOP using the product when infant attempts to climb out(approximately 9 months)
  • Stay near and watch infants during use. This product is not safe for unsupervised use or unattended sleep.

CAUTION  To prevent battery leaks, which can burn skin and eyes:

  • Always replace the entire set of batteries at one time.
  • Never mix old and new batteries or batteries of different brands or types.
  • Remove batteries when storing products for a long time.
  • Dispose of used batteries immediately.

Please take attention that changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
