General Instructions:
All seams are 1/4” unless otherwise noted. RST= right sides together. Press seams as preferred.
Fabrics Used:
- A ( 16) 2.5” X 6.5” rectangles and (16) 2.5” X 2.5” squares
- C (16) 2.5” X 2.5” squares
- D (16) 2.5” X 2.5” squares
- E (4) 2.5” X 2.5” squares
- Use A – 2.5” X 2.5“ squares, D – 2.5” X 2.5” squares and E -2.5“ X 2.5” squares. Arrange as shown & sew together in rows. (Fig. 1) Press as preferred. Make 4.
- Use (8) A – 2.5” X 6.5“ rectangles. Sew rectangles on both sides of 9-patch blocks made in step 1. (Fig. 3). Press as preferred. Make 4.
- Use C – 2.5” X 2.5“ squares and the remaining A – 2.5” X 6.5” rectangles. Sew together as shown. Press as preferred. Make 8.
- Sew pieced sections from step 3 to the top and bottom of each unit. (Fig. 4). Press as preferred. Block should measure 10.5” X 10.5”. Make 4.
