SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of injury, the user must read and understand this instruction sheet as well as the operator’s manual for their pressure washer before using this product. Failure to follow all warnings and precautions can result in death, serious personal injury, or property damage.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Keep at least 25 feet away from power lines. Do not touch or aim spray at electrical wiring of any kind.
- The gutter cleaner attachment should be used with an extension pole only.
- Do not use the gutter cleaner attachment while on a ladder or scaffolding or on other unstable, unsecured grounds
- Do not adjust the gutter cleaner attachment or change nozzles or accessories while spraying or while the attachment is under pressure. Turn off the pressure washer, shut off the water supply , point the nozzle in a safe direction, and pull the trigger to release water pressure before making any changes.
- When using the gutter cleaner attachment, make sure you test in an inconspicuous area first. old gutters / shingles with deterioration may incur damage under high pressure. During operation, keep the gutter cleaner attachment level with the gutter to avoid shingle kickback and damage.
- Do not exceed the maximum rated pressure or volume listed in the product specification.
- Do not remove or alter any warning labels included on the gutter cleaning attachment.
- Before beginning operation, make certain the area you plan to work in is clear of obstructions or hazards.
- Maintain proper balance and control of gutter cleaner attachment at all times.
- To minimize the risk of kickback, grip the extension pole firmly with both hands. A firm grip will help you maintain control of the extension pole if kickback occurs.
- Do not direct the spray directly under shingles.
- Always stay more than 2 feet away from any gutter end caps.
- Only spray nozzles inside gutters, spraying under shingles ,eaves or soffits may cause water damage.
- Clean downspouts frequently to ensure flushing water does not backup in gutters while cleaning.

OPERATION
ATTACHING GUTTER CLEANER TO EXTENSION POLE (NOT INCLUDED)
See Figures 1 – 2.
The attachment is designed for use with 9 ft. or more extension poles only (not included).
- Turn off the pressure washer and shut off the water supply. Pull trigger to release water pressure.
- Engage the lock out on the trigger handle by pushing up on the lock out button until it clicks into the slot.
- Pull back the quick-connect collar of the extension pole coupler.
- Push the gutter cleaner attachment 1/4 in. quickconnect plug into the extension pole coupler until it clicks. Let collar slide back into place.
- Check to be sure gutter cleaner attachment is secured properly.
USING GUTTER CLEANER ATTACHMENT
See Figures 3 – 5.
When using the gutter cleaner attachment, make sure you test in an
inconspicuous area first old gutters / shingles with
deterioration may incur damage under high pressure. During operation, keep the
gutter cleaner attachment level with the gutter to avoid shingle kickback and
damage. The attachment uses a two-directional spray for stability and
effective cleaning.
CAUTION
The gutter cleaner attachment uses two turbo nozzles foreven gutter cleaning in two directions. The attachment may move as pressure is added or lost. Fully understand how the attachment moves when adding or lessening pressure before attempting a cleaning project. If you are not completely comfortable with the movement of the attachment under changing pressure conditions, do not use this product. Failure to do so may result in injury or property damage.
- Gutter guards should be removed before starting any project. The attachment will not work though them.
- Turn on water supply and start the pressure washer according to the operator manual instructions.
- Before attempting to use the attachment on your project, move away from the project area. Depress the trigger to release a stream of water to get a feel for how the unit will perform during use.
- The spray wand may kick when the trigger is released and/or pressure is lost. Before releasing the trigger, move the nozzle 10 feet way from the surface being cleaned and make sure you are on solid footing.
- Move to the project area, raise the extension pole and gutter cleaner attachment and hold inside the gutter channel to be cleared. Squeeze the trigger to begin spraying.
WARNING
Extend the wand only as much as necessary for the project you are attempting and remain in full control of the extension pole at all times.
- Start cleaning at the downspout and move toward the center of the gutter. Stay at least two feet or more from the end cap so as not to blow gutter end cap off.
- Move with slow, even strokes.
- Between gutter hangers, stop spraying, lift up on the extension pole with attachment and place back into the gutter channel.
- Always move from one end to another of the gutter moving debris away from the cleaned area.
- Lift up on the extension pole with attachment and place back into the gutter channel.
- Heavily soiled gutters will require multiple passes.
- Clean up area with pressure washer and pick up and remove any debris.
MAINTENANCE
See Figure 6.
- Turn off the pressure washer and shut off the water supply. Pull trigger to release water pressure.
- Engage the lock-out on the trigger handle by pushing up on the lock out until it clicks into the slot.
- Place a flat head screwdriver (not included) in the 1/4 in. quick-connect plug. The slot in the top of the filter will cause it to turn so it can be lifted out.
- Once the filter is removed from the quick-connect plug, replace it with a new filter (not included) or clean as necessary by back flushing.
- Using a flat head screwdriver, place the cleaned/ new inlet filter into the quick-connect plug and turn the filter until it can no longer be seen over the top of the inlet plug.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury or property damage, spray the pressure stream in a safe direction to ensure proper connection of all accessories before starting any cleaning project. Fits most pressure washers. Ensure compatibility and proper fit before using this accessory. Do not use if a part is broken or appears to be damaged. Wear eye protection with side shields and goggles marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1. Risk of fluid injections; do not point at people, pets, electrical devices or the unit itself. Turn off the pressure washer before changing or adjusting accessories. For cold water use only. Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and use them to instruct other users. If you loan someone this tool, loan them these instructions also.
WARRANTY
WARRANTY Greenworks hereby warranties this product, to the original purchaser with proof of purchase, for a period of three (3) years against defects in materials, parts or workmanship. Greenworks, at its own discretion will repair or replace any and all parts found to be defective, through normal use, free of charge to the customer. This warranty is valid only for units which have been used for personal use that have not been hired or rented for industrial commercial use, and that have been maintained in accordance with the instructions in the owners’ manual supplied with the product from new.
ITEMS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY:
- Any part that has become inoperative due to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper maintenance, or alteration.
- The unit, if it has not been operated and/or maintained in accordance with the owner’s manual.
- Normal wear, except as noted below.
- Routine maintenance items such as lubricating or sharpening.
- Normal deterioration of the exterior finish due to use exposure.

TRANSPORTATION CHARGES:
Transportation charges for the movement of any power equipment unit or
attachment are the responsibility of the purchaser. It is the purchaser’s

replacement under this warranty unless such return is requested in writing by
Greenworks.
