READ BEFORE USING THE Arcade1UP SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The following symbols are used in labels on the game to draw attention to potentially hazardous situations:
WARNING: Failure to avoid the risk may result in death or serious injury
Electrical Shock Hazard. Disconnect power before removing the cover. Should only be done by a qualified technician.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of ore or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.

  1.  Please read and comprehend all warnings stated in this manual.

  2. Do not get the arcade wet when cleaning.

  3. Parents and guardians: Please read the entire manual before allowing gamers to play.

  4. The AC/DC adapter and apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no object filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
    The AC/DC adapter is used as a disconnect device.
    The AC/DC adapter of the apparatus should not be obstructed OR should be easily accessed during intended use. To completely disconnect the power input, the AC/DC adapter of the apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains.

  5. If the appliance is provided with protective earth terminal, it should be connected to the main outlet with a protective earth connection.

  6. Minimum distances are 10 cm / 3.94 inches around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation.

  7. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspaper, table cloths, curtains et8. No naked flame sources such as lighted candles should be placed on the apparatus.

  8. The apparatus should only be used in moderate climates.

EPILEPSY WARNING

This game is designed for indoor and personal use only. It must not be installed outdoors.
The following conditions must be avoided.

  1. Direct exposure to sunlight, high humidity, direct water contact, dust, high heat, or extreme cold.
  2. Vibration. The game must be installed on a level surface.
    Do not install in an area such that the game would present an obstacle in case of an emergency (i.e., near fire equipment or emergency exits).

GAME SETTINGS

  1. ROTATE THE DRIVING WHEEL TO SCROLL THROUGH THE GAME LIST
  2. PRESS VIEW BUTTON TO ENTER GAME SETTINGS
  3. MOVE THE SHIFT KNOB UP & DOWN THEN ROTATE THE DRIVING WHEEL TO ADJUST THE SETTINGS
  4. SELECT “RESET TO DEFAULTS” THEN PRESS THE GAS PEDAL OR START TO RETURN THE GAME TO ITS ORIGINAL STATE
  5. SELECT “SAVE & EXIT” THEN PRESS THE GAS PEDAL OR START TO CONFIRM

GAME CONTROLS

  1. ROTATE THE DRIVING WHEEL TO SCROLL THROUGH THE GAME LIST
  2. PRESS THE GAS PEDAL OR START TO CHOOSE GAME
  3. FOLLOW THE GAME CONTROLS BELOW FOR EACH GAME
  4. PRESS THE GAS PEDAL OR START TO CONTINUE
  5. HOLD START 5 SECONDS TO QUIT GAME
  6. PRESS VIEW TO CHANGE DRIVER’S VIEW EXCEPT FOR RIDGE RACER™ & RIDGE RACER 2™

CALIBRATION
Please note: Driving Wheel / Pedals have been Calibrated at the factory and do NOT need to be Calibrated. Only Calibrate if after playing the calibration seem to be off.

HOW TO CALIBRATE YOUR DRIVING WHEEL & PEDALS IF IT GOES OFF:

  1. Turn the machine OFF.
  2. Hold down the START button and LIVE button at the same time & turn the machine back ON while continuing to hold the buttons.
  3. Follow on-screen instructions.

WARNING
TO ENJOY A SAFE GAMING ENVIRONMENT
Please use the wall anchor kit that is included with the product.

WARNING
Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tip-over. To help prevent tip-over:

  • Set up Arcade1UP on a level floor.
