Area of use
The heating cabinet is intended for keeping already hot food warm in GN
canteens.
Unpacking
The packaging is removed and the protective plastic is removed. The stainless
steel surfaces are wiped with a damp cloth. Also clean the cabinet inside with
a damp cloth. Never flush directly against the cabinet.
Transport damage
Examine the goods carefully after unpacking and check if they have been
damaged during transport. If the goods are damaged, the damage must be
reported to the transport company immediately (must be reported within seven
days of arrival).
Transport support
The cabinet is not equipped with any special transport supports other than the
packaging.
Installation
The heating cabinet is equipped with four adjustable feet. Place the cabinet
in the intended place and adjust the adjustable feet so that the cabinet is
horizontal (this does not apply to the mobile version). The heating cabinet
must be connected to a fixed cable 230V ~ (does not apply to the mobile
version). The electrical connection takes place at the bottom of the heating
cabinet. The terminal block is accessible behind the side plate which can be
easily loosened with six screws.
Important
Check that the air intakes for the heating fan are not blocked, if the fan
overheats, the service life is reduced as a result.
Description
The holding cabinet is made of stainless steel and is adapted for GN canteens,
811 to 1/1 and 821 to 2/1. ET 821 also fits the 10’s serving dish (635×405
mm). The cabinet is delivered as standard with eight pairs of guides and four
movable grid shelves. Keeping warm is regulated by a thermostat. The cabinet
is equipped with a thermometer, concealed thermostat that acts as overheating
protection, and a toggle switch as the main switch. The element package is
located on the side of the cabinet. To achieve even heat throughout the
cabinet, a fan is used that blows the heat into the bottom and sucks out air
at the top of the inner cabinet. The side plate and the hob over the element
package are equipped with air intakes for cooling the fan motor.
How to use the holdig cabinet
The holding cabinet should be switched on for about 20 minutes before use to
allow the heat to reach the correct heating temperature (70-80 ° C). Then
canteens with hot food can be stuffed in, the working temperature is regulated
by the thermostat.
Common advice
Remember that the cabinet should be used for maintenance heating, not for
heating.
Care
The holding cabinet is cleaned with a gentle detergent. Wipe with a damp
cloth. Never flush directly against the heating cabinet, as water can enter
through the panel or through the fan blower and short-circuit the entire
cabinet. The heating cabinet should always be switched off when not in use.
Safety
The product is designed and manufactured in accordance with SS-EN 60 335-2
with regard to electrical safety. Account is taken of the EC Machinery
Directive regarding hygiene requirements.
If the holding cabinet does not work
If the cabinet does not work, first check that the fuse is intact. For mobile
version, check that the cable holder is ok. If the cabinet does not get hot,
check that the fan is running or if the overheating protection switches off
the power too soon (hidden thermostat). If necessary, contact your service
company.
Service and spare parts
If service is required, contact your authorized service personnel. Use only
original spare parts.
