- Do not use the SwFT Glow in a manner that would put people or property in danger.
- riding near others, keep a safe distance to avoid cllision.
- Be sure to always keep your feet on the foot mats. Moving your feet off your SWFT Glow while driving is dangerous and may cause the hoverboard to stop or veer sideways
- Do not operate the SWEI Glow while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol
- Do not operate the SWFI GlOw it you are restless or sleepy.
- Do not ride your SWFT Glow off curbs, ramps, or attempt to operate in a skate park, empty pool, or in any way like a skateboard or scooter.

RIDING YOUR SCOOTER
FAILURE TO FOLLOW ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SAFETY PRECAUTIONS CAN AND MAY LEAD TO
DAMAGE TO
YOUR DEVICE, VOID YOUR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY, LEAD TO PROPERTY DAMAGE, AND
CAUSE SERIOUS BODILY INJURY OR DEATH.
Before using your SWFT Glow, be sure to familiarize yourself with the
operating procedures.
OPERATING YOUR SCoOTER
Make sure the SWFT Glow is fully charged before your initial use.
For charging instructions, please read the section of this manual titled
CHARGING YOUR SWFT Glow.
Stand directly behind your SWFT Glow and place your left foot on the
corresponding foot mat (as shown in the diagram below). Keep your weight on
the foot that is still on the ground, otherwise, the device may begin to move
or vibrate, making it difficult to step on evenly with your other foot. When
you are ready, shift your weight to the
foot already placed on the SWFT Glow and step on with your second foot quickly
and evenly (as shown in the diagram below).
Find your center of gravity. If your weight is distributed correctly on the
foot mats and your center of gravity is level, you should be able to stand on
your hoverboard as if you were standing on the ground.
On average, it takes 3-5 minutes just to become comfortable standing on your
hoverboard and maintaining proper balance.
Having a spotter will help you feel more secure. The SWFT Glow is an
incredibly intuitive device; it senses even the smallest amount of motion.
Having any anxiety or reservation about stepping on may cause you to panic and
trigger unwanted acceleration.
When you first begin using your device, the easiest way to get going is to
focus on your desired direction. You will notice that just thinking about
which way you want to go will cause you to shift your center of gravity in
that direction. This subtle movement will trigger the SWFT Glow to begin
propelling you in that direction.
The device uses sensors to detect your center of gravity, which determines the
direction you will move, how quickly you will accelerate and decelerate, and
when you will come to a complete stop. As displayed in the diagram below, tilt
your center of gravity in the direction you want to move.
To turn, focus on the direction you wish to turn and stay relaxed. You will
notice that as you get comfortable on the device, it becomes easier to
maneuver.
REMEMBER:
At higher speeds, it is necessary to shift your weight to overcome inertia and
centrifugal force during turns, acceleration and deceleration.
If you encounter bumps or uneven surfaces, bend your knees to keep riding. If
you determine that the bumps and surface imperfections are too large to ride
over then dismount and carry your hoverboard to a safe operating surface.
(Consult the SAFETY CHECKLIST for assistance determining safe riding surfaces)
Dismounting your SWFT Glo can be one of the easiest steps, but when done
incorrectly, can cause you to fall. To property dismount,
from a stopped position, lift one leg up and step back to set your foot back down on the ground. Once your frst foot is firmly on the ground shift your weight back onto that leg, then step off completely as shown in the following diagram.
WEIGHT AND SPEED LIMITATIONS
Speed and weight limits are set for your own safety. Please do not exceed the following limits
- Maximum Weight: 220 lbs.
- Minimum Weight: 44 lbs.
- Maximum Speed: Up to 7 mph
OPERATING RANGE
The hoverboard can travel up to 7 miles on a fully charged battery in ideal conditions. The following are some of the major factors that will affect the operating range of your device.
- Terrain: Range is highest when riding on smooth, flat surfaces. Riding uphill and/or on rough terrain will significantly reduce range.
- Weight: A lighter user will have further range than a heavier user.
- Ambient temperature: Please ride and store the device under recommended temperatures. Doing so will increase the range, battery life, and overall performance of your device.
- Speed and riding style: Maintaining a moderate and consistent speed while riding will yield maximum range. Traveling at high speeds for extended periods, frequent starts and stops, idling and frequent acceleration or deceleration will decrease the overall distance.
CHARGING YOUR SWFT PRODUCT
CHARG ING THE DEVICE
Ensure that the charging port is clean and dry.
- Make sure that there is no dust, debris or dirt inside the charging port.
- Plug the charger into a grounded wall outlet. The charging indicator light on the charger will be GREEN.
- Connect the cable to the power supply (100V – 240V; 50/60 Hz).
- Align and connect the 3-pin charging cable into the charging port of the electric scooter. DO NOT FORCE OR BEND THE CHARGING CABLE INTO THE CHARGING PORT, AS IT MAY CAUSE THE PRONGS TO BEND OR BREAK.
