Power

This device can be powered from a 120V AC electrical outlet or from the 12V DC socket in your vehicle. Both cables are permanently fixed to the unit and can be stowed in their respective compartments.

Flip the AC/DC switch left or right for the respective cable you wish to use. Return it to the center to turn off the device (Fig. 1)

Power over AC

Using the AC cable stored on the bottom of the device (Fig. 2), plug the end of the cable into an electrical outlet or an extension cord (Fig. 3)

Power over AC

NOTE: This device is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) which will only fit in a polarized outlet one way. If the plug does not fully fit in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not modify the plug in any way.

CAUTION! If using an extension cord, ensure it is a properly wired and in good condition. If used outdoors, only use a UL-, CSA-, or ETL- rated extension cord for outdoor, all-weather use. Follow the table below for the minimum extension cord thickness and length. Feel free to use an extension cord with a thicker (lower number) gauge than shown.

Wire Gauge (AWG) Max Length
16 ≤ 50ft (15m)
14 ≤ 100ft (30m)

Power over 12V DC

Using the DC cable stored on the right side of the device, plug the 12V DC plug (also known as a car charger) into the 12V DC socket of your vehicle (Fig. 4).

Operation

CAUTION! Do not leave items unattended during inflation. These items can burst and could cause serious injury.

WARNING! The pressure setting displayed on the LCD screen is not perfectly calibrated to exact values. After inflation, tire pressure must be checked using a calibrated pressure gauge before driving the vehicle.

WARNING! Risk of injury. Do not direct air stream at body.

WARNING! Hot surface. To reduce the risk of burns, do not touch the air chuck during inflation.

  1. First, press the mode button to cycle between PSI or kPa (Fig. 5).

  2. The + and – buttons allows you to manually adjust the pressure setting. This determines the pressure to which the item is inflated up to, or deflated down to. Press either the + or – buttons to increase or decrease the pressure value by increments of 0.5 PSI/ 5 kPa, or long press to quickly cycle the value up or down (Fig 6).

Inflating with the High Pressure Air Hose

Schrader valves (cars, motorcycles and mountain bikes) can be attached directly to the air chuck without any additional attachments.

  1. Pull out the high pressure air hose from the bottom of the inflator + deflator (Fig. 7).

  2. Unscrew the valve cap from the valve stem (Schrader) of your tire (Fig. 8).

  3. Place the air chuck onto the threaded valve stem (Schrader), then press down on the air chuck clamp to secure the chuck onto the valve (Fig. 9).

  4. Set the appropriate pressure according to the label on the driver’s side door or the vehicle’s user manual.

  5. Once the desired pressure has been set, flip the high volume/high pressure switch to the high pressure setting (right) to initiate inflation (Fig. 10). The indicator LEDs will cycle on from left to right to indicate inflation progress.
NOTE: Once the specified pressure setting has been reached, the indicator LEDs will light up solid and the motor will shut off automatically.

  6. Return the high volume/high pressure switch back to the off (middle) position before using it again.

High Pressure Air Hose Adapters

The high pressure air hose can also be used with the provided adapters to inflate a variety of items. To use the adapters, lift up the air chuck clamp and insert your adapter of choice into the air chuck. Then press down on the air chuck clamp to secure the adapter in place (Fig. 11).

Presta Valve Adapter

Presta valves are commonly used on road bikes and some mountain bikes. To inflate a bicycle tire, you will need to use the presta valve adapter.

  1. Loosen the Presta valve locking nut on your bike’s valve stem (Fig. 12).

  2. Thread the female end of the Presta valve adapter onto valve stem of the bicycle tire.

  3. Clamp the end of the air chuck down onto the Presta valve adapter by pressing the air chuck clamp down until it locks into place (Fig. 13).

  4. Set the appropriate pressure according to the bicycle’s tire wall. Then flip the high volume/high pressure switch to the high pressure setting (right) to initiate inflation (Fig. 10). The indicator LEDs will cycle on from left to right to indicate inflation progress.
NOTE: Once the specified pressure setting has been reached, the indicator LEDs will light up solid and the motor will shut off automatically.

  5. After inflation, return the high volume/high pressure switch back to the off (middle) position. Then remove the air chuck and retighten the locking nut (Fig. 12).

Sports Ball Needle

Inflate all kinds of sports balls with the Sports ball needle (Fig. 14).

Tapered Adapter

Inflate all kinds of small plastic or rubber inflatables such as pool rings, floats, air pillows and more with the tapered adapter (Fig. 15).

Inflating with the High Volume Air Hose

The high volume air hose can be used to inflate a variety of large inflatables such as rafts, bouncy castles, air beds, inflatable pools and more.

  1. Pull out the high volume air hose from the back of the unit. Insert the slotted end of the hose into the high volume inflator and twist counter-clockwise until it locks into place (Fig. 16).

  2. Choose between the two high volume adapters based on the size of the air valve on the item. Insert the adapter into the air valve (Fig. 17).

  3. Flip the high volume/high pressure switch to the high volume setting (left) to initiate inflation (Fig. 18).

  4. Flip the high volume/high pressure switch back to the off (middle) position once the item has been sufficiently inflated.

Deflating with the High Volume Air Hose

  1. Insert the slotted end of the hose into the high volume deflator and twist counterclockwise until it locks into place (Fig. 19).

  2. Flip the high volume/high pressure switch to the high volume setting (left) to initiate deflation (Fig. 18).

  3. Return the high volume/high pressure switch back to the off (middle) position once the item has been deflated.

LED Light

The LED light switch controls the LED light on the left side of the Inflator + Deflator (Fig. 20). Follow the table below to activate the two different modes.

LED Switch LED
1st press Solid white
2nd press Red + white blinking
3rd press OFF
