INTRODUCTION

The Smith & Nobel Smart Hub is the main device of  the Smith & Nobel Smart Shades Platform. This system was created to integrate motorized window treatments via APP, voice control, keypads and more.

HOW To INSTALL

  • download the APP on your smartphone
    • When the A and the following message wo notifications Click on”Allow to receive importantly CICk On AlOW 1o receve mportant notifications. Click on “start.
  • Type a user name and password, than press Enter
  • Click on the “*icon (Add Devices) located in the upper nght part of the APP SCreen. The APP Will ask permission to have access to the camera,
  • Click on OK and scan the QR code (located underneath the Hub)
  • Plug your Hub to the power outlet
  • The hub’s LED will star blinking. Follow the APP instructions.

ADDING AND PAIRING RF MOTORS

  • Click on the “” icon (Add Devices); Select Other” and “Add Shades” You will be able to name the device according to your preference and also to choose the kind of motor and shade you want.  nice you complete the related selection, click on OK and the device will de added and listed among your list or
  • To pair the motor with the Hub, set the motor tO the programming mode, then access the channel you want on the APP, click on “Edit” and then click on Program. The motor should indicate that the pairing was successful and the APP will be controlling the motor
  • You can add up to 32 virtual remotes control per Hub. To other motors repeat the same process.

IMPORTI EXPORT SETTINGS

EXPORT your settings to another the “Settings Menu”, then “Export Settings”. Choose the exporting mode (Admin or User) and send the Config File via email.
To IMPORT the settings on another mobile device, Download the APP, Start the APP and type your name and email. Open the email which contains the Config File attached to it. Download the file and open it using the Smith and Noble APP le, access

FACTORY RESET

If you need to factory reset the Hub for any reason, press and hold the reset button located on the back part of it. The LED will start blinking. Hold the reset button pressed until the LED becomes red and solid (approximately 40s), then release the reset button. The Hub will be reset after 2 min and all the configurations will be lost.
