Bluetooth pairing

Press the photo key for 3 seconds to enter the Bluetooth pairing state; the green light on the remote will blink rapidly when it is in pairing mode.
Open your mobile phone’s settings and go to Bluetooth, pair new device. Choose “wireless remote”. The green light on the remote will remain on (not blinking) to indicate a successful connection.

Inserting the mobile phone into the holder

Tilt the mobile phone underneath the top bracket and push upwards. Secure the phone into the bottom bracket.

Taking photos/recording video

While holding the handle, press the photo button to take a picture or start/stop video recording

Mounting to a tripod and taking pictures remotely

Screw the grip onto the top of any standard tripod. Remove the remote button from the handle by sliding it forward.
You can take pictures or start/stop video up to 10m (33ft) away from the mobile phone.

Replacing the battery on the remote control

  • When the battery needs to be replaced the indicator LED will blink red
  • Remove the remote control from the handle by sliding it forward
  • Turn the remote over and slide the battery compartment off
  • Replace the battery using a “2016 coin lithium battery”

Operational notes

  1.  When the Bluetooth remote is paired with a mobile phone and there is no activity for 10 minutes the remote will go into sleep mode.  Press the photo button one time to wake it and automatically reconnect to the mobile phone.
  2.  When the Bluetooth remote is paired with a mobile phone and there is no activity for 20 minutes the remote will turn off.  Press and hold the photo button for 3 seconds to reconnect to the mobile phone.
