Connection Settings

Power On the Mesh Network Base Station

Step 1:Connect the power cord to the power interface of the mesh network base station and connect the other end to a power source.

‘ All illustrations of the products, accessories and user interface in this manual are schematic diagrams and are for reference only. Due to product updates and upgrades, the actual product and schematic diagram may be slightly different, please refer to the actual product.
Step 2:After the mesh base station prompts “Please connect to the router.” plug the network cable of the base station into the LAN port of the router. When it prompts “Successful Connection.” the networking for the base station is done successfully.

Note: After power-on, the status of a base station can be determined according to the light indicators. “Red Light” indicates if the base station is powered on, and every connected camera will light up one “Green iglu.” By observing the number of “Green Light: you can determine the number of cameras that are connected to the base station.

Power On the camera

Step 1:Make sure the camera is powered off, remove the protective cover with a screwdriver, and expose the MicroSD card slot.
Hold the contact side of the MicroSD card with the camera lens in the same direction and insert it into the card slot.

Step 2: Connect the power cord to the camera’s power interface, and connect the other end to a power source.
Step 3: After powered on, the camera will automatically connect to the mesh network base station. When it prompts -WiFi-connected: or by observing the base station and finds it lighted up a “Green Light: the camera has completed networking.

Adding Devices

Step 1:In V380 Pro, click the add button in the device list menu. if there is already a device existing in the device list, click the add button in the upper right corner to add a device.Macro Video Technologies J1 Mesh Network

Step 2: Go to add device interface and select [Mesh Network Cameras]; make sure the device is powered on and click [Next].

Step 4:Please be patient while searching for devices! Follow the APP prompts to complete the addition.

Camera reset to factory settings

  • Use this function only when you forget the device password or when the camera cannot connect to the base station.
    Press and hold the reset button for more than 3s to reset the device to factory settings. When the camera prompts “Reset to factory settings, the camera has been reset successfully.
    Note:
    After resetting the device to factory settings, the camera needs to be paired with the mesh network base station again. (The contents in the MicroSD card will not be deleted.)

Pairing the camera with the mesh network base station

Method 1: Use the network cable in the attachment to connect to the camera and connect its other end to the same router that the mesh network base station is connected to.

Method 2:Reset the camera first and Short press (click) the reset button again. And then press the WPS button on the mesh network base station, and the signal reconfiguration will be started. Waiting for 1 minute to finish the setting.

Note:

  • When the mesh network base station is in the “pairing’ state, the camera connected to it will appear to be temporarily °Mine. After the base station ends the “pairing mode,” the camera will recover itself.
  • When the camera prompts “Pairing information received” or “Pairing completed; the camera and the base station are paired.
  • When the camera prompts “No pairing information received, please re-pair,” the camera has failed to pair with the base station. Please re-pair as described above.
