INSTRUCTIONS
STEP ONE -GET TO KNOW YOUR JETHROPHONE
STEP TWO-HOWTOCHARGEYOURJETHROPHONE
- With the phone facing down, insert fingernails into e back cover cutout and gently but firmly lift and remove the back cover.
- Insert the removable battery making sure that e three gold connectors are lined up to the phone gold connectors.
- Put the back cover back in place, and press down along the edges of the phone, every time there is a clicking sound,the back cover is being secured in place.
- Connect the cable to the MicroUSB connector.
- Connect the USB side (Larger connector) of the able to the wall charger USB port.
- Connect the phone wall charger to the electric outlet.
- Charge your device for at least two hours.
TIP: Although your phone arrives pre-charged, good practice dictates that
prior to the first time of operation,let the battery charge for at least two
full hours.
WARNING! Use only approved chargers. Incompatible chargers could damage
your phone and void the warranty. Never leave the phone charging for more than
eight hours. +
STEP THREE-HOWTOINSERT THEISM &SD CARDS
- With the phone facing down, insert fingernails into the back ver cutout, gently but firmly lift and remove the back cover. (See step 2)
- Remove the battery by inserting the fingernails at the top of the battery, lift the battery out.
- Locate the slot for the MiniSIM Card (AKA Regular Size SIM Card). To sert, slide the SIM card from the top into the SIM card slot. (As per the picture below) Make Sure the SIM cardʼs gold contacts face down.
- To insert or remove a Micro SD Memory Card, please repeat numbers e and number two of this list. (Micro SD card isnʼt included in the box)
- Locate the slot for the micro SD card (Located at the bottom right side the phone, above the three battery gold connectors)
- Using your fingernails, slide the metal lid to the right and lift it. This will unlock the micro SD Card tray. Place the Micro SD card in place and lock the metal lid by sliding it to the left.
STEP FOUR -HOW TO TURN ON/OFF OFFYOURDEVICE
- Turn ON:Firmly, “press and hold” the power button for five seconds.
- Turn OFF: Firmly, “press and hold” the power button for five seconds.
HOWTONAVIGATEYOUR THEJETHROSIMPLEBAR
By pressing the 4-way Navigation Key you can scroll and select items. Think of it as a compass in which you have Up, Down, Left and Right. When the item is selected, simply press the OK / Execute Key.
THE LEFT (MENU) AND RIGHT (SPKR) SOFTKEYS
The Soft Keys (Menu and SPKR) are also App-driven multi-function keys that
allow when available to select certain applications or commands sat either the
left or the right bottom of the display.
JETHRO 4G SIMPLE BAR HOME SCREEN
The Status Bar shows the phone vitals such as, battery level, signal
strength, time, and notifications such as alarms, calendar events and other
open events.
HomeScreendisplaysTime, DateandCarrier ToopenNotifications, from the home
screen, simply press UP Navigation Key.
HOWTOMAKEPHONECALLS
- To make phonecall fromtheHomeScreen, simply input the number and press the Call/Send Key to initiate the call.
- To make a phone call from anywhere in the system, press the Red End Key until the Home Screen is reached. Input the number and press the Call/Send Keykey to initiate the call.
- To make a phone call from the contact list. Scroll down the list using NavigationKey. Find the contact and press the Call/Send Key.
HOWTOANSWER, ACCEPTORREJECTPHONECALLS
If the phone begins to ring, the caller ID will tell you who is calling.
Simply Press the Green Call /Send Key to answer the call
To or Reject a phone call, simply press the End key.
RECENTPHONECALLS
Jethro 4G Simple Bar phone has the ability to automatically create a recent
phone list of calls either accepted, missed or dialed.This list is ceontn
rsietas.ntly been updated by the new phonecalls, deleting the oldest
From the home menu,press the Call/Send Key and use the Navigation Key to
scroll left or right to display the records by call type: Missed
Calls, Received Calls, DialedCalls, All Calls.
All calls display the date, time and phone number. If the phone number is
already added to the Phonebook (Contacts) it will include different icons to
indicate the type of number.
If there is the need to get more information from a specific recent phone call,
choose from the following options:
In Call History, press Menu Key or OK Key to view more Options:
- Create new contact: Create a new contact for this caller. Add to contacts: Save the callerʼs number as an existing contact. Send a message: Open the message menu for this caller.
- Block number: Prevent this caller to call you again.
- Call Details : Group all the call records of this caller.
- Delete : Delete the phone record.
- Clear call history : Delete all the call records.
- Settings: More options such as Voicemail, etc…
ADDITIONAL PHONE FEATURES
Soundoff: Silence the phone when needed. From the Home Screen do the
following:
Press and hold the “#” button for three seconds to switch between Normal Mode
and Silent Mode for vibration only.
To switch back to normal mode, simply press and hold the “#” key for three
seconds
OTHERMOSTUSEFUL FEATURES

Unlock the Keypad: If your keypad is locked, press and hold the Keypad Lock Button for 3 seconds to unlock the keypad. To lock the keypad again, simply press the Keypad Lock button more than 3 seconds.

Switching between current phone: If you are on a phone call and you receive another phone call, the Jethro Simple 4G Bar phone will beep to inform you that you have another person calling you.The caller ID will work during the call and let you know who is calling.
If you want to put the current call on hold and answer the new incoming call, simply press the Call/Send Key.
If you want to return to the first phone call, press the Call/Send key again. -
Block Mobile DataAccess: Completely block mobile data access. Go to Settings, Scroll down, select Network and Internet, Click OK, select Data usage, Click OK, then scroll down to Mobile Data, click OK to turn off the Data access

Reset Phone (Erase all information) : Go to Settings, scroll down, select System, scroll down, select Reset Options, scroll down, select Erase all data (factory reset), click OK, the follow the prompt steps. Important: All contacts and data in the phone will be lost if a Reset is performed.
PHONE BOOK (CONTACTS)
The Jethro 4G Simple Bar has the ability to save contact information in its memory or the SIM Card. To do this, follow the next steps:
- From the Home Screen, press the Speaker Key (Left Soft Key) to open e Contacts.
- Press the Menu Key (Options), select Create New Contact, then press K Key
- Select where you want to save the contact, Phone Contact (Phone memory) or USIM (SIMcardmemory), then press OK Key
- Using the Navigation Key,scroll down or up to enter information to other phone bookfields.
- Using the Navigation Key, scroll down to the phone number fieldand enter the phone number.
- Press the Menu Key (Save) to save the entry.
PHOTO-DIAL CONTACTS
You can add upto eight (8) contacts in the Photo-Dial Application. Photo-Dial
allows you to see the picture of the already saved contact, then simply press
the green Call Key.
To assign contacts to Photo-Dial, follow these steps:
- From the Home Screen, press Right Direction Key to open Photo-ial. Press Right Direction Key to select the entry
- Press Menu Key (Option) to choose the contact from your saved contacts then press OK to add
MESSAGES
The Jethro 4G Simple Bar has a built-message app that allows you to send messages. Depending on the type of message you can attach either pictures, sounds, voice recordings and even videos.
- From the Home Screen, press the Left Navigation Key / Message shortcut Key, press Menu Key (Option), select New Message, then press OK Key.
- Use the Up or Down Navigation Keys to select the field: Type name or number.ber, then use the keypad to enter the contact name or phone
- Use the Up or Down Navigation Keys to select the field: Type text message, then use the keypad to enter the text messages.

CHANGE INPUT METHODS
The Jethro 4G Simple Bar has several built-in input methods that allows you to
type the messages or enter contacts. You can use the Input Switch Key (#) to
change the input method while in a text field.
The selected input method will appear on the top right corner of the screen.
- R9: Predictive Text – for example, word “Phone” key in as 74663.
- 123: Numbers only – 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0
- abc: Letters – all small cases
- Abc: Letters – First letter capital, then small cases
- ABC: Letters – All capital
- Press the Symbol Key to select Special Characters
- Symbols: Special Characters – , . ? ! : : / < > Etc..
SOS/EMERGENCYFEATURE
The Jethro 4G Simple Bar has the ability to dial SOS calls and send location
text messages to emergency contacts. To do this, follow the next steps:
Read the instructions carefully and configure the emergency call function
according to your needs.
- In an emergency, press and hold the emergency button on the back of e phone for five (5) seconds.
- The five (5) preset numbers will be dialed automatically in the order you ve saved them. The phone will go through the list of five (5) numbers a maximum of three times.
- The emergency contacts will receive the call saying “ Emergency call, ease press zero to answer the call ”. The contact must press zero (0) key within 15 seconds, or the call will be disconnected and move on to the next caller. (This setting is to prevent the emergency call from going through to the contact voicemailbox).
- At the same time as each emergency call, a preset text message (SMS) th your GPS location (Google map link) will be sent to the emergency contacts.
HOWTOPROGRAMSOSFEATURE
- From the Home Screen, press the Menu Key, scroll to SOS, and click OK.
- To enable SOS feature, make sure the SOS is on. You can use their ey to turn it on and off.
- ToentertheSOS contacts,scrolltoSOS Numbers,clickOK. Selectthe Contact 1 (to 5),clickOK,then enterthephone number of the contact.
- After entering the SOS number, press the Navigation Keys to select K on the screen, then click OK Key
- In SOS Settings, scroll down to SOS Message (this is your emergency xt for the contacts), clickOK Key, and enter the emergency text. The default message is “please help me!”
- After entering the emergency text, press the Navigation Keys to select K on the screen, then press OK Key
In order to send GPS location to the emergency contacts via text, you need to first Switch the Location On in SOS Settings.
CAMERA
- From the Home Screen, press the Menu Key, scroll to Camera, click K.
- Press OK Key to capture the picture.
- To change the setting of the camera such as white balance, Flash, picture size, Scene mode, and ISO etc., Press Menu Key (Option)
- Use the Up or Down Navigation Keys to adjust the exposure level.
- Use the Left or Right Navigation Keys to adjust Digital zoom in or out.
NOTIFICATIONS
The Jethro 4G Simple Bar has Notification Bar on the top of the screen at the
Home Screen. It shows the pushed notifications such as system updates,
incoming text messages, voice messages etc..
To view your notifications, from Home Screen, press the Up Navigation / Volume
Key. You can then use the Navigation keys to select the notifications preview
or press OK Key to view details.
To Clear all notifications, while viewing notifications, press the Down
Navigation / Volume Key to select Clear All, then press OK Key
SET UP ALARMS
The Jethro 4G Simple Bar has the ability to setup Alarms
To View/Edit Alarms, from Home Screen, press the Down Navigation / Volume Key.
You can then use the Navigation keys to select the Alarm options, press OK Key
to edit the current alarms
To Add/Delete Alarms, in Alarm feature, press Menu Key (Option) to add a new
alarm or delete an existing one, or change the setting of an existing alarm,
press OK Key to select.

- Call / SendKey: Answer/make phone calls. Long press to access call history.
