Safety

  • Use only the AC power supply included with your Nanit.
  • Adult assembly required. Keep small parts away from children when assembling.
  • Never plug Nanit in to an outlet which is within reach of your child

Let’s Get Started

Download the Nanit app and set up your account.Follow the in-app instructions to pair your Nanit Camera. Once complete, you can choose to follow the mounting instructions in-app or in this\ booklet.

Wall Mount Installation

Position your crib against the wall where you will mount Nanit. Be sure to check that there are no studs in the center of the crib and that the power outlet is out of your child’s reach.

Using the included Mounting Template, find the center of the crib and mark the centerline on your wall.Once complete, move the crib out of your way.

Fold the shaded area of the Mounting Template, step on it to pull straight, then align with the centerline. Once in position, make a mark on your wall at 66” (167cm).

Drill a 3/16” (5mm) hole in the marked spot.

Insert an anchor until flush with the wall.Insert a screw into the anchor and screw in halfway.

Hang the Mounting Bracket on the screw, then adjust it using the built-in level. Once level, mark the wall through the two bottom holes in the bracket.

Remove the Mounting Bracket. Drill 3/16” (5mm) holes in the two marked spots.

Hang the Mounting Bracket back onto the top screw

Insert and tighten first the bottom two screws (A, B), then tighten the top screw (C).

Place Wall Mount over Mounting Bracket and press it flush against the wall (A),Then, slide the Wall Mount down until it clicks (B).Once the Wall Mount is secured, wipe down the wall below to remove any dust from thedrilling process.

Safety Kit Installation

The next pages will guide you through the cable cover installation process. Start out by attaching the first six cable covers to the wall (A). Once the sixth cable cover has been installed, use the elbow cable cover (B) to make sure the cable run towards your power outlet, then finish installing the remaining cable covers (C). Turn to the next page to get started.

Peel the tape backing off the cable cover (A). Slide the cable cover until the top aligns with the connection point (B).

Snap the top of the cable cover in (C). Gently pull on the cable and make sure the cable is completely tucked in. Firmly adhere the bottom of the cable cover to the wall (D).

Once the sixth cable cover has been installed, STOP. Choose the left or right elbo cable cover depending on where your power outlet is located. Attach by peeling off thetape backing, tucking the cable inside the cover, and snapping it into place.

Now, install the remaining cable covers horizontally along the wall following the same process as before.

Snap the Camera into the Wall Mount until it clicks (A), then plug the power adapter into your outlet (B). Make sure that the power outlet you use is not within your child’s reach.Now, head back into the Nanit app to finish setup.
