Download the Project Dasein App
Search for ‘Project Dasein” in the App Store or Google Play to download the app on your mobile device. This sensor will not work as intended without the app installed on your mobile device.
Connecting Your Sensor
Your sensor uses our proprietary TrakFast bluetooth pairing process allowing for coaches or multiple runners to share a single Alethia sensor. With Trakfast, there isn’t a traditional bluetooth pairing & unpairing required to maintain a connection with your mobile device. Your sensor will pair with a mobile device only while it is recording a run session; once the session has ended and the sensor data has been transmitted to your mobile device, the sensor will disconnect & unpair itself.
To connect the sensor:
- Open the Project Dasein app, click record run, and choose your sensor name from the list.
- If the sensor isn’t currently connected to another device, recording a run session, or transferring data – after a successful connection, you will be asked to choose your desired run recording settings.
- After choosing your run session settings, the sensor will wait 30 seconds, then begin recording sensor data.
- Once you have completed a run session, you must click “end recording” inside of the app. Clicking this will begin the transfer of sensor data from the sensor to your connected mobile device.
- After the data has been fully transmitted, the sensor will automatically disconnect & unpair itself from your mobile app.
For comprehensive instructions related to advanced sensor functionalities, using the Project Dasein app, reading Force Portraits, Coach Mode, or any other functionalities – please refer to the full manual, available at: projectdasein.com/setup
