DO NOT USE PAD ON SENSITIVE SKIN OR WHEN TAKING MEDICATION THAT CAN CAUSE SENSITIVE SKIN.

HEATING PAD COMPONENTS
- Machine- ashable Cloth Cover (Figure 1)
- Heating Pad (Figure 2)
- Inner Cloth for Moist Heat (Figure 3)
Cautions:

The clot cover must always be used with the heating pad. An absorbent inner cloth is provided for moist heat application.

This heating pad should not be used in the following cases: If you have diabetes, tuberculosis, benign or malignant tumors, phlebitis and thrombosis, hemorrhages, inflammation of the skin, undetermined calf pain or join or if you have poor circulation. Consult a physician before using if you have any kind of fungal infection, swelling, fracture or persistent pain.

Consult your physician should you have any therapeutic questions regarding use of this heating pad.

Do not use on any unexplained pain, or swollen muscles, or following a serious muscular injury before consulting your physician.

Keep away from children.

Discontinue use of product if pain increases or swelling occurs after application.

Do not use while bathing or showering. Use only in a dry area. consult your doctor before using in case of illness or medical condition,
including but not limited to pacemaker use, pregnancy or cancer. -
If you experience pain in a muscle or joint for a prolonged period of time, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Persistent pain could be a symptom of a more serious condition.

Never use any heating products on open wounds, discolored areas, or any area of the body that is swollen, burned, bruised, inflamed or where skin eruptions, ulcerated sores or varicose veins are present.

His product should never be used by any individual suffering from any ailments that would limit or altogether inhibit the user’s capacity to feel or have any sensation in the body part that this product is being used for.

Use of this product should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or discomfort result, discontinue use and consult your physician.

Ensure that your hands are dry when operating the controls or removing the plug.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE
To assemble the heating pad, insert the heating pad completely into the cloth cover with the electric cord extending out from the cloth cover (see below). To secure in a desired position, attach one end of the adjustable strap to the fabric cover. Wrap the fabric strap around desired location and attach the opposite end to the fabric cover and adjust as needed. If moist heat is desired, follow instructions in the Moist Heat Treatment section.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
DRY HEAT TREATMENT
This heating pad comes assembled (Figure 4).
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a
safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety
feature. This heating pad is intended or household use only and it is designed
to operate at 110-125 volts AC. Use on Alternating Current (60 Hertz) only.

Plug the electrical cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
NOTE: When first plugged into the main power supply, all lights will flash once. This to make sure the controller functions properly. -
Push the ON/OFF button; the power indicator light will illuminate to signal that the heating pad is at Warm setting. Press the settings buttons to choose Warm, Low, Medium or High levels.

After choosing your heat setting, place heating pad on top of the area to be treated.

To turn off, press and hold ON/OFF button until all lights turn off. For maximum benefit, use should not exceed 30 minutes at one time.
NOTE: The heat will automatically turn off after 60 minutes, at which
point the green LED indicator light will flash continuously until the ON/OFF
button is pressed.
Heating pad is equipped with 2 sides. One side is thicker for gentler heat and
more sensitive skin. The other side is thinner for higher heat. Burns can
occur regardless of control setting; check skin under pad frequently.

MOIST HEAT TREATMENT
- Ensure heating pad is unplugged.
- Wet the absorbent inner cloth and squeeze out excess water.
- Insert the damp pad between the heating pad and the cloth cover.
- Plug the electrical cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
- Push the ON/OFF button; the power indicator light will lluminate to signal that the heating pad is at Warm setting. Press the settings buttons to choose Wam Low, Medium or High levels.
- Place heating pad on top of the area to be treated.
- When treatment is done, press and hold the ON/OFF button to turn unit off and unplug. For maximum benefit, use should not exceed 30 minutes at one time.
- After use, dry the cloth cover, inner cloth and the heating pad before storing.
NOTE: This heating pad has a 60-minute auto-off feature. During use, check skin under heating pad frequently. Do not leave heating pad unattended.

LIMITED THREE-YEAR WARRANTY (U.S. AND CANADA ONLY)
Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit free of charge for 36 months from the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in workmanship or materials. To obtain service under this warranty, return the defective product to the service center listed, together with your purchase receipt. California residents need only provide proof of purchase and should call 1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping instructions. In the absence of a purchase receipt, the warranty period shall be 36 months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULARPURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 36-MONTH DURATION OF THIs WRITTEN, LIMITED WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHATSOEVER.
