HOW IT WORK
LEARN ABOUT THE BRUSH
KIT INCLUDES:

FOR BEST RESULTS:
- Start with your front teeth and work your way back towards your molars as you brush.
- Brush in circular motion on each tooth. Continue brushing in that zone until the indicator light tells you to move on.
- Hold the brush handle horizontally. When the handle is angled, the sensors may not be able to read your teeth.
APP FUNCTIONALITY:
The Colgate® Connect app has additional features to enhance your experience
with the Plaqless Pro toothbrush.
This includes:
- Video tutorials
- Personalized coaching in real-time
- Facts and history to help you improve your brushing over time
CONNECTING YOUR BRUSH TO THE APP:
- Launch the app.
- Ensure that your phone or tablet has Bluetooth turned on.
- Begin app introduction.
- Turn on brush to pair, it is automatically in pairing mode. The Bluetooth”‘ light will blink blue when paired.
QUADRANT MODE:
KEY BRUSH INDICATORS:
Brush neck ring is green while initializing. Once initialized, the brush will be in feedback mode by default.
FEEDBACK MODE:
PROVIDES FEEDBACK ON BUILDUP
Full cleaning signal feedback: Brush motor lapses after 2 min and quadrant
timer will be all white. Brush turns off after 4 min or when you press the
power button.
- Blue light: Detecting Continue brushing in zone.
- White light: Move on Area is clean or you have brushed for enough time in zone.
- Red flashing light: Error: Correct angle Sensor cannot see teeth. Rinse to clean sensor or hold the brush horizontally to resume detection.
- Light off: Brush not in mouth When the brush detects it is outside the mouth, the light ring will turn off and the motor speed will reduce.
QUIET MODE:
In quiet mode, the indicator light ring will not turn on to provide feedback
as you brush. You will still have the 30 second quadrant timer to keep your
pace.
The brush will automatically turn off after 2 minutes while in quiet mode. To change between feedback and quiet mode, press the mode button on the brush.
REPLACING THE BRUSH HEAD:
- To remove, pull the brush head straight up.
- Position the new brush head so that the bristles are aligned with the quadrant timer. Push the brush head all the way down.
- Your toothbrush is now ready to use again! After every use, rinse toothbrush head thoroughly, shake off excess water and store up rig ht.
BATTERY INDICATORS:
Battery indicator is green when battery is charged, orange when battery is low. Charge when indicator turns red. Battery indicator will flash green while charging and solid green when complete.
BLUETOOTH INDICATORS:
Bluetooth indicator is green when connected and blue during firmware update.
CHARGER:
To coil or uncoil the cord from the charger base, push on the post to pop the cord spool from the outer housing. Adjust cord length as desired and reinsert spool into housing lining up cord exit with groove. Plug USB connector into provided AC adapter & place toothbrush on charger to charge.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using the electrical products, especially when children are present,
basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
DANGER
- Do not place or store product where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
- Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
- Do not reach for a product that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
- Do not touch the AC adapter with wet hands.
- AC adaptors and chargers should always be completely dry when connecting to power.
WARNING
- Adult supervision required for persons with disabilities. Replace refill if brush head becomes loose due to damage.
- Not intended for children. Keep out of reach of children 3 years of age and younger.
- The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the appliance must be scrapped.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
- When charging in a bathroom, lavatory, or other we1 location, use only the AC adc:1pter and charger providea. Other USB power sources must only be used in dry locations away from water.
- Stop using this toothbrush if it is damaged1n any way (cord, plug, brush head, toothbrush handle, charger and/or AC adaptor). Return the product to a service center for examination and repair. Go to www.colgate.com/connect to review how to handle a product for examination and repair.
- Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use brushheads, charger, or attachments not recommended by Colgate.
- Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
- This product is only to be used with the power supply unit provided with it.
- Use the charger only within rated capacity of outlets or voltages specified.
- No user serviceable parts. Do not disassemble the handle as it may cause personal injury or device failure.
- If after using this toothbrush you experience excessive bleeding or if bleeding continues to occur after a week of use, please contact your dentist as it may be an indication of a more serious oral care issue.
- If you are undergoing treatment for any oral care condition, consult your dental professional prior to use.
NOTICE: For energy savings purposes, charge only when the battery level is low. When not in use, keep the charger unplugged from the socket.
ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY:
The Colgate® Plaqless electric toothbrush complies with all standards
regarding electromagnetic fields. It is safe to use if handled properly
according to the instructions provided in this manual.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS AND DEVICE MAINTENANCE:
The following maintenance instructions are important to ensure that your brush
continues to work as it was designed. Failure to follow these instructions may
cause your brush to stop working as desired or to stop functioning altogether.
- It is recommended that you change your brush head every three months to ensure that the effectiveness of your brushing is maintained. If you do plan to stop using your toothbrush for an extended period, we recommend that you unplug the charging base, clean the toothbrush handle and heads, and store them in a cool, dark place.
- If you start using your toothbrush again after a long period of not using it, place it on the charger and, as soon as the level of battery charge allows, pair it
- Clean your toothbrush thoroughly after each use by rinsing it under running water. Regularly clean the handle and the charging base of the Colgate® Plaqless Pro toothbrush using a damp cloth. This is especially important if your toothpaste contains baking soda or other bicarbonates or peroxide, otherwise, plastic cracking could occur.
