GET STARTED
CHARGE YOUR TOOTHBRUSH
Before your first use, we recommend fully charging your toothbrush. Plug the
Pulse charging base into a certified AC adapter or other USB power source with
a minimum power of 1.25W (5V ..–. 0.25A). Charge your Pulse electric
toothbrush in a dry location away from water.
- The Smile light pulses teal or white while charging
- The Smile light will be teal or white when fully charged
- The Smile light will flash orange when it needs to be recharged
Leave charger unplugged between charges.
SYNC YOUR TOOTHBRUSH
Download the Colgate Connect app and make sure the Bluetooth® is turned on.
Create your profile and sync your toothbrush every 10 days to view your full
brushing analysis and collect smile rewards. The Smile light will flash blue
when it recognises the brush during the connection process.
TURN IT ON AND FIND YOUR BRUSHING RHYTHM
Before turning on the brush, press your Colgate Pulse brush head firmly into
place. brushing modes. The brush stays in tune with you and opens in the last
mode used.

A handy tip to remember the modes is that the length of the line represents the vibration strength. The shorter the line = the more gentle.
SMILE COACHING & SMART TECHNOLOGY
Be guided by the app or the smart brush 2 minute light-up timer: Each quadrant
at the bottom of the brush lights up white every 30 seconds to guide your
brushing pace for a complete 2 minute clean Pressure sensor: Detects over
brushing by flashing red to indicate when to lighten your brushing style
TURN YOUR BRUSH OFF
After pressing the off button, the brush will remain in standby mode for 20 seconds. You can take a quick break and if you resume brushing within the 20 second period your 2 minute brushing streak will not be impacted. After 20 seconds in standby mode the brush will turn off.
MAKE YOUR BRUSH SMILE
Get in the right flow and the brush will let you know.
- Teal: You’ve hit your daily brushing goal of 2 minutes twice a day
- Rainbow: You’re in a healthy brushing rhythm with a multi-day streak
- White: Default
Note: When charging the brush, the smile light will pulse in dark teal if you’re in a healthy brushing rhythmn and pulse white if not.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic
safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

This toothbrush can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the toothbrush in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Not suitable for children under 8.
Keep out of reach of small children. -
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Use only a certified AC Adapter or other USB power source with USB outlet and output voltage rating 5Vdc and output current rating of at least 250mA.

USB power sources must only be used in dry locations away from water.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
- Stop using this toothbrush if it is damaged in any way (cord,brush head, toothbrush handle, charger and/or user provided AC adapter).
- Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use brush heads, charger, or attachments not recommended by Colgate.
- Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
- Use the charger only within rated capacity of outlets or voltages specified.
- No user serviceable parts. Do not disassemble the handle except for battery disposal, as it may cause personal injury or device failure.
- If after using this toothbrush you experience excessive bleeding or if bleeding continues to occur after a week of use, please contact your dentist as it may be an indication of a more serious oral care issue.
- If you are undergoing treatment for any oral care condition, consult your dental professional prior to use.
- Do not place or store product where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
- Do not reach for a charger that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
- Chargers and user provided AC adapter should always be completely dry when connecting to power.
INSTRUCTIONS
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Clean your toothbrush head thoroughly after each use by gently pulling the
brush head from the handle and rinsing under running water.
Regularly clean the handle and charging base of the toothbrush using a damp
cloth. This is especially important if your toothpaste contains baking soda or
other bicarbonates or peroxide. Otherwise, plastic cracking could occur.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS AND DEVICE MAINTENANCE
The following maintenance instructions are important to ensure that your brush
continues to work as it was designed. Failure to follow these instructions may
cause your device to stop functioning altogether. If you plan to stop using
the toothbrush for an extended period, we recommend that you unplug the
charging base, clean the toothbrush handle and heads, and store them in a cool
dark place. If you start using your toothbrush again after a long period of
non-use, place it on the charger for a latest 10 hours.
ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY
The Colgate electric toothbrush complies with all standards regarding
electromagnetic fields. It is safe to use if handled properly according to the
instructions provided in this manual.
