Boltpower HFT160 Jump Starter and Power Bank

Apart from jump starting a car, this product can also supply power for a mobile phone, tablet, PSP, MP3/MP4, camera and other consumer electronics, and with different lighting modes.

How to Jump Start a 12V vehicle?

  1. Check the Jump Starter and make sure the power is over 50% charged.

  2. lnsert the jumper cable to the product’s jump start socket. The Jumper cable’s GREEN LED “ ” would be flashing. This means that the product is in “Stand-by mode”.

  3. Connecting the RED clamp to the POSITIVE terminal(+), and BLACK clamp to the
    NEGTIVE terminal(-) of the vehicle battery. The Jumper cable’s LED light would be turned into Solid GREEN “ “. It means that the product is in “Jump Start Ready mode”.
    | Once the product is in “Jump Start Ready mode”, you will have seconds to Jump Start the engine.

  4. Press the car start button or turn the ignition switch to the START position.

  5. Disconnect the jumper cable from the product, then remove the clamps from the vehicle battery.

LCD screen display instructions

  1. When charging, the LCD displays “IN”, and the battery percentage value flashes (1 flash per second). When the battery is charged to 100%, it stops flashing and stops charging; after 10 seconds, the LCD display is turned off and enters the sleep state.
  2. When discharging output, the LCD displays “OUT” and the current percentage of power of the product is displayed at the same time.
  3. The USB port discharges output corresponds to displaying “5V/ 2.4A” or “QC 3.0” characters.
  4. When the TYPE-C port discharges output, the character “5V/3.0A” is displayed.
  5. When wireless charging is working: the ” ” symbol shows the current working status (” ” flashes quickly when the wireless charging is abnormal).
  6. In the working state, the discharge of jump start port can normally indicate the electric quantity.
  7. When no load or light load is connected, 30±5S after the LED screen goes out and enters the sleep mode.
  8. When the battery temperature is abnormal, the ” ” symbol flashes.

How to use wireless charging ?

Press the “Power ” button to turn on the wireless feature, the would be solid on.

You can go ahead and place your phone over the wireless charger pad.

How to charge mobile phone or tablet

  1. Turn on the product
  2. Connect the product to your device via charging cable.

How to turn on the LED light?

Hold for 2 seccnds to turn on the LED light.
Short press one time, switch to SOS or flash light mode.
Hold for 2 seccnds to turn OFF the LED light.

How to recharge the product?

First step:

Insert the charging cable.

Warning

  1. This product was desinged for 12V lead acid/AGM/Gel batteries/ vehicles ONLY.
  2. Never short circuit the jump starter by connecting the RED and Black clamps.
  3. Do not disassemble the jump starter.
  4. Do not use ii as a toy for Chirdren.
  5. Store in a dry place, do not expose to damp conditions or near corrosive materials.
  6. If the jump starter expands, leakage or peculiar smell is found, stop use immediately.
  7. Please use this jump starter at normal temperature and be far away from too wet, too hot and fire.
  8. “DO NOT jump start the car engine more than 3 times continuously as ii may overheat or damage the product”, there should be an interval of 60 seconds between each jump start.
  9. When the battery power of the unit is less than 10%, do not use the jump starter as it will damage the unit.
  10. Recharge the unit every 3 months to prevent from being over-discharged.
  11. Before first use, charging for 3 hours or more.
  12. After starting the car, please wait at least 30 minutes before charging the product.
  13. Be sure to use the standard jumper cable that comes with the product to start the vehicle.
