Charging
BEFORE FIRST USE
- MIO is cordless and rechargeable . Before using for the first time, charge fully for 24 hours. MIO can run up to 40 minutes on a single charge.
CHARGING
- To recharge, insert the small end of the Charging Cord into the port on the bottom of the MIO. Then connect the USB end of the Charging e Cord to (i) a USB port in a computer or other USB power supply, or (ii) a wall adapter and then plug into an electrical outlet.
- When the MIO’s battery is in need of charging, the Power Indicator Light will turn to red. If the device is fully discharged the device will power off.
- As the battery charges, the flashing red light will turn solid red, and then will turn green when the device is fully charged.
- Recharge the MIO only as needed. DO NOT overcharge which can shorten battery life. Disconnect the Charging Cord when not charging the device.
Usage Guide
PRE-TREAT. Thoroughly cleanse skin with warm water, steam or a warm washcloth to open pores. Pat dry with a clean towel.
- Attach the Diamond Microdermabrasion Tip and follow below “Usage Directions” to expertly remove dead skin and rough dry patches with professional-grade exfoliation. Remove Diamond Microdermabrasion Tip after use.
- Usage Directions: Press the “ON/ OFF POWER” button to activate or deactivate the device. Select the desired power level by pressing the “Speed Control button. We suggest beginning on Low power to start. Begin gliding MIO over 1″-2” treatment sections while holding your skin taut with the opposite hand. *See lustrations under Expert Advice, another side. Do not stop and hold MIO over an area of skin. Keep MIO moving at all times. When treatment is complete, rinse your face clean and pat dry. Discontinue use if you experience any discomfort or pain.
- Attach the Extracting Suction Tip with the medium or large circular hole at tip to remove congestion and detoxify pores. These tips are designed to be used in easy-to-reach places like the chin, cheeks, and forehead. Begin gliding MIO over 2″ sections of skin while holding your skin taut with the opposite hand, avoiding the eye and lip area.
- Attach the Extracting Suction Tip with the small oval opening to remove congestion and detoxify pores in hard-to-reach places. The angled opening makes this tip ideal to purify pores around the nose area and in the T-Zone. Begin gliding MIO over 1 “-2” sections of skin while holding your skin taut with your opposite hand. Do not stop and hold MIO over an area of skin. Keep MIO moving at all times, to avoid too much suction in one area.
Note: MIO will shut off automatically after 15 minutes.
Expert Advice

- Diamond Microdermabrasion Tip. Aestheticians recommend using it 1 time per week. It is best to use it in gentle, short upward movements of about 1 “-2” long. Avoid thin-skinned areas around the eyes and lips. Hold skin taut at all times.
- After the first Vertical pass with the Diamond Microdermabrasion Tip, you may decide to make a second pass in the opposite direction. Aestheticians refer to this as cross-hatching. It is best to make only one pass as your skin is getting used to microdermabrasion.
- Keep MIO Moving. It’s important to keep MIO] moving at all times. Never keep MIO stationary over one area of skin. Moving in short 1 “-2” sections is recommended and always hold skin taut with opposite hand.

When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be taken. IF YOU THINK THE POWER IS OFF WHEN THE SWITCH 15 OFF. YOU ARE WRONG. If the plug is in, the power is on. Unplug electrical appliances when you are not using them.

To reduce the risk of electrocution: DO NOT get the Product or Charging Cable wet or immerse in water. Keep this product away from open flame or flammable aerosol products. The Device is not suitable for use in the presence of a flammable anesthetic mixture with air or oxygen or nitrous oxide.

To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire or injury to persons: Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by, on, or near children or physically chal lenged persons. Use this product only for its intended use as described in this User Guide. DO NOT use this product where oxygen is being administered. The product has no serviceable parts. Never attempt to open the Device Handle for any reason. DO NOT disassemble, heat above 600″C (1400″F) or incinerate.

Your warranty is not effective unless you register the Product within 90 days of purchase. To register go online to www.warrantyspasciences.com and complete the Information required for registration. For a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, Spa Sciences (the “Company”) warrants the MIO Microdermabrasion & Pore Extraction Skin Resurfacing System (the “Product”) against damage, defects or failure resulting from ordinary consumer use under normal home conditions according to the instructions included with the Product (a “Covered Defect”). This warranty DOES NOT include damage, defects or failure caused by misuse or improper care of the Product; impact or insertion of foreign objects into or on the Product: application of harmful chemicals or abrasives to the Product; failure to follow manufacturer’s instructions; normal wear and tear; alteration or overuse of the Product; or any professiona l or commercial use of the Product. If there is a Covered Defect during the one (1) year warranty period the Company agrees to exchange the Product with a new equivalent product. This is the sole remedy available for breach of this limited warranty. Any claim for breach of this limited warranty must be commenced within one (1) year following the original purchase. This limited warranty applies only to a purchase of the Product from or an authorized reseller, is valid for the original end user of the Product only and cannot be transferred under any circumstances.
