Read and follow the instructions in this user manual even if you feel you are
familiar with the product and find a place to keep it handy for future
reference.
For your convenience record the complete model number (located on the product
identification plate) and the date you received the product, together with
your purchase receipt and attach to the warranty and service information.
Retain in the event that warranty service is required.
NOTE: The rating of this product (as marked on the product identification
plate) is based on specific loading tests. Normal use or the use of other
recommended attachments may draw significantly less power.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using any electrically powered product, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT
WARNING! – to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to
persons or property:
- After unboxing the unit, remove all plastic and protective wrapping.
- The heater is not be positioned in front of a socket-outlet.
- Do not use this heater in any wet areas or in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower or a swimming pool.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- CAUTION – Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention must be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
- Make sure the power supply used corresponds to the rating label.
- Never obstruct or block any opening of the heater.
- Use the heater only on a flat surface.
- Always disconnect the heater from the main power supply when not in use or when cleaning the appliance.
- Do not leave the heater unattended when it is “ON”.
- Do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to come into contact with the plug or control device.
- Keep the heater clean. Do not allow objects to enter the ventilation opening as this may cause electric shock or fire damage to the heater.
- . Do not use outdoors.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas electric burner.
- Do not use the appliance in places other than its intended purpose as described in this instruction manual.
- This appliance is intended for household use only.
- Do not leave the heater on overnight.
- When cleaning, make sure not to use a wet cloth or use water on any part of the unit as this may cause a short circuit or electric shock.
- Make sure the power is placed at the back away from the front panel of the heater.
- When moving the appliance, do not touch the front grills.\
- The heater must be installed in a position where the outlet grill is at a minimum of 1.8 meters from the floor and a minimum of 350mm from the nearest side to an adjacent wall and a minimum of 500mm from the ceiling to the top face of the heater.
- The plug cannot be under the heater.
- The heater is to be installed so that switches and other controls cannot be touched by a person in the bath or shower.
- Keep the appliance a distance of at least 900mm from any combustible material such as furniture, curtains, bedding, clothes or papers etc.

INSTALLATION & LOCATION
- Select a location for mounting of the heater in accordance with the SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
- The Wall Mounting Base should be positioned as shown in Figure 1.
- If this heater is mounted above a shelf or other wall-mounted object, then there must be a minimum of 700mm clearance between the shelf/object and the outlet grill.
- The Wall Mounting Base must be secured with two screwed fixing points.
- Fit the heater to the wall mounting base by securing the 2 hooks on the wall mounting base and metal panel.
- The heater must be securely locked into place on the Wall Mounting Base for safe operation.
- To check the heater is fully locked, attempt to gently slide the heater upwards. It should be securely held in position.
- Position the iron plate under the air outlet from the back of the unit with two screws and fix the plate with a screw through one hole. Drill two holes in wall ensuring the heater will be more than 1.8m above the ground. The diameter of the hole needs to be just big enough for the plastic anchors.
- Fasten the supplied mounting screws into the fixed mounting holes on the unit. Ensure the bottom mounting screws are also in place. Using the supplied screws and plastic anchors, fix them to the wall and mount the heater, as per Figure 2.
OPERATION OF THIS PRODUCT
- Remove the unit from the box and take off any protective wrapping.
- Mount heater as per SAFETY and INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
- Plug your heater into the power supply. Make sure your power supply corresponds to the power indicated on the rating label.
- To activate the heater, pull the switch once for 1000W, pull again for 2000W, and pull a third time to turn off the appliance.
OVERHEATING SAFETY DEVICE
- The heater will turn itself off in the event of overheating. The most common cause of overheating is due to deposits of dust or fluff entering the appliance. Ensure these deposits are removed regularly by cleaning the inlet and out grills. The heater will automatically re-set when it has cooled down.
- Your heater is fitted with a safe device that switches off the heater in the event of overheating. When the heater’s power button is off, the fan will work for 30 seconds to cool down before the heater stops working.
- If the heater stops working, turn the heater off and inspect the blockage in the inlet or outlet. Disconnect the plug and wait at least 10 minutes for the protection system to reset before attempting to restart the heater. If the safety device continues to switch the heater off and the heater fails to operate, take the heater to your nearest service center for examination or repair.
CLEANING
- Always disconnect the appliance from the main supply before cleaning.
- Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp or dry cloth.
- Do not use petroleum, any other detergent or chemical solvent to clean the heater.
- When the heater is not used for a long time, it should be protected from dust and stored in a clean, dry place.
