USER MANUAL
RECEIVER FUNCTIONS
- POWER/MODE button
-Press to switch the head unit on, press and hold to turn the receiver off. When powered press to change between TUNE > BT > AUX > USB mode - button – In radio mode press once to search for the next radio channel. In MP3 mode press to forward to the next track
- BND/APS button – In radio mode press to change between FM1-FM2-FM3-AM1-AM2. Press and hold to activate the APS function. It will scan the strongest stations automatically and store them like 1-6 in memory buttons. When Bluetooth is enabled with a compatible device press to answer incoming phone calls
- IR receiver for the remote control
- SELECT VOLUME – Rotary knob on the receiver. In normal mode use this knob to increase/decrease the volume level. To access various sound parameters press the button to cycle through the following adjustable settings: VOLUME > BASS > TREBLE > BALANCE > FADER > LOUD > EQ > DX > MONO > (stereo only available in radio mode)
- MIC for bluetooth – microphone for talking on a mobile device when bluetooth is active
- LCD display – displays the time and other selected functions
- USB slot for music files – plug in your USB device to play back stored music files
- TF card slot – insert a Micro SD card into this slot to play back stored music files
- button – In radio mode press once to search for the previous radio channel. In MP3 mode press to go back to the previous track
- MUT/CLK – , – press to mute the volume: press again to resume the previous volume level. Press and hold to display and adjust the time. When Bluetooth is enabled with a compatible device, press to hang up phone calls
- 1 / pause button – In MP3 mode press to pause playback, and press again to resume playback. In radio mode press for stored radio channel
- 2 / INT button – In MP3 mode press to listen to the first 10 seconds of each song. In radio mode press for stored radio channel
- 3 / RPT button – In MP3 mode press to repeat the song. In radio mode press for stored radio channel
- 4 / RDM button – In MP3 mode press to play songs randomly. In radio mode press for stored radio channel
- 5 / -10 button – In MP3 mode press a hold this button for 3 seconds to select the folder. Short press to fast rewind 10 songs at one time. In radio mode press for stored radio channel
- 5 / +10 button – In MP3 mode press a hold this button for 3 seconds to select the folder. Short press to fast forward 10 songs at one time. In radio mode press for stored radio channel
- AUX input – Use to connect and play compatible 3.5mm audio input devices
- RST reset button – Insert fine point implement to reset the head unit
- USB slot for charging compatible devices
REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS
1 POWER/MUTE button Press to turn on./Press and hold to mute down the volume,
press and hold again to resume the previous volume level..
2 Button Once bluetooth is activated; press to answer the phone call.
3 /C Button Once bluetooth is activated; press to hang up the phone call.
Press to cancel the number you just press when you make a call.
4 Button In MP3 mode, press to pause the playback. Press again to resume
playback.
5 2/INT Button In MP3 mode, press to listen to the first 10 seconds of each
song.
6 3/RPT Button In MP3 mode, press to repeat the song.
7 4/RDM Button In MP3 mode, press to play songs randomly.
8 5/-10 Button In MP3 mode, press and hold this button for 3 seconds to select
the folder.in MP3 mode, press shortly to rewind backward 10 songs at one time.
9 6+10 Button In MP3 mode, press and hold this button for 3 seconds to select
the folder.ln MP3 mode, press shortly to fast forward 10 songs at one time.
10 ***7/LOUD Button Press to activate the LOUD function, press to switch off.
11 8/ST Button During radio mode, press to select between Stereo/Mono.
12 EQ Button Equalization select function
13 /APS Button In Bluetooth mode, press to use the “” key. Press to scan the
strongest stations automatically & store them into 1-6 memory knobs.
14 MOD Button Press to change between Radio Function and MP3/WMA Function TUNE
BT > AUX > USB
15 Scan Button In Bluetooth mode, press to use the “#” key. ,
16 19 Forward or Backward Button In MP3/WMA mode, press / Hi to forward or backward one song.
17 RE-DIAL/BND Button In Bluetooth mode, press to redial the phone number who you just spoke to in radio mode, press to switch the radio BAND – FM1 – FM2 – FM3 – AM1 – AM2
18 21 VOL+/VOL- Button In normal mode, use this knob to increase/decrease the volume level.
20 SELECT Control Press this button to cycle through the following adjustable settings: VOLUME > BASS > TREBLE > BALANCE > FADER > LOUD > EQ > DX > MONO >
BLUETOOTH
1ST TIME PAIRING VIA BLUETOOTH
1. Turn on the receiver, then turn on bluetooth on your compatible device
2. Your device will then automatically search for the signal sent from the
receiver (USA18BT)
3. Select the pairing name (USA18BT) on your device to pair
4. Once pairing is successful the bluetooth icon (BT) will appear and light
up on the LCD display
5. Once paired press the MODE button to switch between TUNE > BT > AUX and
USB or SD when cards are inserted.
6. If you receive a call while using TUNE > BT > AUX > USB or SD modes the
Bluetooth will be activated. Once the call is finished the receiver will
return to its previous function
RECEIVING A CALL
1. When there is an incoming call, the call’s number will be shown on the LCD
display. Press the button to answer the call, and press buttons to hang up the
call
2. If the receiver is off and an incoming call is received, the receiver will
tum on automatically the Bluetooth function will activate. After the call is
finished the receiver will automatically switch off
MAKING A CALL
Dial the number on your compatible device, then press the button to start the
call, then press button to hang up the call
PLAYING MUSIC Press the MODE button to switch to bluetooth mode and access or
stream your music files from your compatible device. Press the / NI buttons
to go back or forwards between tracks
GPS AUDIO
If your compatible device has GPS active, pressing the MODE button to switch
to bluetooth mode will allow GPS audio to stream through the receiver
TIME DISPLAY & SETTING
1. Press and hold the MUT/CLK button, the time on the LCD will flash.
2. Rotate the rotary knob to set the hour, press the “VOUSEL” rotary knob to
display the minutes. Then rotate the rotary knob to set the minutes.
3. After 3 seconds the display will stop flashing and the time is now set
VOLUME ROTARY BUTTON (AUDIO MODE SELECTOR)
1. Rotate to increase/decrease the audio volume. Press to access (Audio Mode
Selector settings) VOL > BAS > THE > BAL > FAD > LOUD OF > EC) OF. Rotate the
change settings
BAND CONTROL
1. On the receiver press the BND/APS button to select BAND, repeatedly to
cycle through the radio bands: FM1 – FM2 – FM3 -AM1 -AM2. Press and hold the
BND/APS button to scan all of the strongest stations and to automatically
preset the stations to the 1- 6 number keys
2. On the remote press the APS button to select BAND, repeatedly to cycle
through the radio bands: FM1 – FM2 – FM3 -AM1 -AM2. Press & hold the APS
button to scan all of the strongest stations and to automatically preset the
stations to the 1- 6 number keys 3. In FM Mode 18 stations can be stored from
FM1 – FM3 4. In AM Mode 12 stations can be stored from AM1 -AM2
TUNING BUTTON
1. Press / MI to auto tune the desired radio stations, press and hold this
button again to activate manual tuning. To store the station press and hold
any 1-6 number on the receiver or remote
MUSIC PLAYBACK
USB FORMAT When using a Micro SD or USB memory card make sure it is formatted
as FAT16 or FAT 32 file system
ID3 TAG 1. If an MP3 file is available with an ID3 TAG, the following
information (for example, song name, artist etc.) will be displayed on the LCD
display automatically. 2. During MP3 playback, press and hold the BND/APS
button to turn on the search mode, rotate the rotary volume knob to select the
desired track, then press the “VOUSEL” rotary knob to confirm.
Note: When repeat is on, the function is void
INSTALLATION & REMOVAL
The receiver has an anti-theft locking design, please follow the installation
instructions below:
- The metal chassis is mounted into vehicle
- Connect the wiring temporally and make sure all works correctly
- The receiver body is pushed into the metal chassis until it locks into place
- Push the plastic trim frame against the receiver until it is fitted
- When removing the receiver, remove the plastic trim frame, and insert the removal keys supplied into the grooves at both sides of the receiver until they click. Allowing the receiver to be released from the metal chassis and pulled outward from the dashboard.

TROUBLESHOOTING
