Operation Instruction (SCC)

  1. Connect the bipolar plug, if 220V/240V, or the three-pole plug to the current outlet.
  2.  Press the line main switch 7 and the ON/OFF button thus connecting the electric circuit which supplies the modular card for the automatic cycle phases.
  3. Set the vacuum time (or percentage) required, the sealing time and the gas injection time (if the machine is equipped with such a system).
  4. Position the bag (or bags) inside the vacuum chamber; put the bag opening perfectly flat on the sealing bar. Put the exceeding part of the bag, if any, in the fissure between the chamber and the sealing bar.
  5. Two or three removable food a toxic polyethylene filling squares are positioned inside the vacuum chamber to level the product thickness according to the sealing bar. The polyethylene filling squares can be removed or left inside the vacuum chamber depending on necessity..
  6.  Lower the lid and press adequately on it until it remains closed, thus permitting the work cycle to begin.
  7.  The different cycle phases are automatic and after a time preset by the manufacturer the lid opens thus enabling the subsequent cycles to begin.

Vacuum-packaging with inert gas injection

  1. Set the work cycle with inert gas injection on the control panel by pre-selecting the relevant time.
  2. Connect the hose coming from the gas cylinder to the hose connection positioned on the side/rear of the vacuum packaging machine (1 fig. 6) by means of the relevant clamp, then set the gas cylinder gauge at a pressure value of 1 ATA.
  3. Position the bag containing the product inside the vacuum chamber, fitting the gas nozzle inside the bag opening (1 fig. 7); make sure that there are no folds obstructing the gas flow.

VACUUM PACKAGING OF LIQUID OR SEMILIQUID PRODUCTS
By means of the chamber vacuum packaging machines in our production, it is possible to vacuum pack liquid or semiliquid products (soups, sauces, etc..) thus increasing their duration time and keeping hygiene and taste unchanged. Fill the bag up to 50% of its capacity only, and keep a difference of level between the bag edge and the sealing bar (by removing the internal shelves) when positioning the bag in the machine.

  •  Vacuum cycles are set as described in the chapter USE OF THE MACHINE.
  •  Since it is not possible to compress liquids, they do not need a modified atmosphere during packaging, that is with inert gas addition.
  • All the vacuum packaged products can be stored one upon another in the cold room.

For best sealing effect, it is better to let the appliance cool down for 1 minute before using it again. Wipe out any excess liquid or food residue in the vacuum chamber after each bag packaged. Do not put too much stuff inside the bag: leave enough empty space in the open end of the bag so that the bag can be placed in the vacuum chamber area without creating wrinkles or ripples; Do not seal one after another continuously to avoid overheat of the sealing element. The machine will reject if this “seal” button is activated within 15 seconds of the last activation. Your appliance can work only on the specific bags provided by us. Do not attempt to use other bags not intended for vacuum packaging. . Cut the bag straight across with scissors to open a sealed bag. Clean and straighten the open end of the bag before sealing. Make sure nothing is left on the open area of the bag, no wrinkle or creased lines should appear on the open panel, foreign objects or creased bag may cause difficult to seal tightly. Do not vacuum packaging objects with sharp points like fish bones and hard shells! Sharp points may penetrate and tear the bag! You may want to use a container instead of a bag to store such stuff.
Do not leave too much air inside the bag. Press the bag to allow extra air to escape from the bag before vacuuming it. Too much air inside the bag increases the vacuum pump loading and may cause the motor insufficient power to draw away all the air inside the bag. If it’s not reach the required vacuum for some unknowable reason, the vacuum system will shut automatically after 60 seconds, in this situation, please check if the bag is leak, or not placed properly or any other reasons. RECOMMENDED VACUUM BAGS: We recommend to use gofer vacuum bags (thickness 100 µ) which are available in any size direct from our warehouse and other approved outlets. It is also possible to use regular smooth Ny-rol bags in the machine (thickness 140 µ). If using Ny-rol bags, please ensure that the lateral bag borders are folded over in order to fit the suction channels.

Cleaning

Always unplug the unit before cleaning. Do not immerse in water or any other liquid. Avoid using abrasive products or material to clean the unit, for they will scratch the surface. Use a mild dishwashing soap and a warm, damp cloth to wipe away food residue or around components. Dry thoroughly before using again.
Advice
GENERAL RULES FOR FOOD SAFETY AND PRESERVATION AT A FRIDGE TEMPERATURE BETWEEN 0° AND 3°
Once you have heated, defrosted or un-refrigerated perishable foods, consume them immediately. After opening canned food or commercially vacuum packed foods, they can be re-vacuumed packed. Follow the instructions to refrigerate after opening and store re-vacuumed packages properly. Don’t defrost foods in hot water or via other heat sources. It doesn’t matter whether they are vacuum packed or not. Don’t consume foods if they are perishable and have been left out at room temperature for more than a few hours. This is especially important if they have been prepared with a thick sauce, in a vacuum package, or in a low oxygen environment. Spread vacuum packages evenly throughout the refrigerator or freezer to cool down food temperature quickly.
