SAFETY

  • By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the damage.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and make sure the cord cannot become entangled.

Battery Safety

  • The rechargeable battery is only to be charged under adult supervision.
  • Do not attempt to open the rechargeable battery or battery pack as there are no serviceable parts inside.
  • Keep the battery out of reach of children. If swallowed, consult a physician immediately.
  • Avoid storing the battery in extremely hot or cold environments. A device with a hot or cold battery may not work temporarily, even when the battery is fully charged.
  • Do not dispose of the battery in a fire as it may explode. The battery may also explode if damaged. Please dispose of it according to local regulations. Do not dispose of it as household waste.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • Always unplug the device and let it cool down completely before cleaning.
  • To avoid damage to the soleplate, never use any sharp object or metal utensil to scrap the soleplate.
  • Use a soft damp cloth to clean the housing of the device.
  • Do not use any abrasive detergent or steel wool to clean the iron, as it may scratch the surfaces.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Carefully read all instructions before using the iron.

  • Clean the soleplate with a soft damp cloth before the iron is used for the first time.
  • Smell or smoke may disperse at the beginning as caused by the warming up of the insulation material.

USE

Dry ironing

  • Press and hold the button until the indicator light turns on.
  • Press the button multiple times to select the desired temperature level, the indicator icon light will flash.
  • Once the desired temperature has been reached the indicator icon light will stay on. The appliance is now ready to start ironing.
  • Note: the maximum ironing time is 25 minutes at the highest temperature.

Selecting the temperature

  • Check the ironing instructions on the garment to be ironed.
  • If the garment does not have any ironing instructions but you know the kind of fabric in question, use the chart below.
  • Fabrics that have some kind of finish (polishing, wrinkles, contrast) can be ironed at the lowest temperatures.
  • If the fabric contains several kinds of fibers, always select the temperature applicable, if an article contains 60% polyester and 40% cotton, you must always choose the temperature corresponding to polyester.
  • First, classify the garments to be ironed according to the most suitable ironing temperature: wool with wool, cotton with cotton, etc. as the iron heats up as fast as it cools, start by ironing the articles requiring the lowest temperature such as those made of synthetic fibers. Progress towards those that require the highest temperatures.

Spray

  • Use the spray bottle to iron out stubborn wrinkles more easily.
  • Fill the spray bottle with water.
  • Point the spray bottle to the desired area and press the spraying button to moisten the garments and fabric.

Charging

  • The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh.
  • When the power indicator starts flashing, the battery needs to be charged.
  • Plug the USB cable into the micro-USB port on the handle and the other end into a USB power adapter (not included).
  • Plug the power adapter into a socket.
  • Full charging time is approximately 2.5 hours.

Power bank

  • Remove the handle module so you can use it to charge your phone or any other electronic appliance.
  • Plug the USB cable into the USB port.
  • Plug the other end of the USB cable into the appliance you want to charge.
