Heavy Duty Continuity Tester

Introduction

Ideal for checking continuity of non-energized components, fuses, switches, relays, wiring, and circuit boards. Features a 30″ (76cm) test lead with an alligator clip for one-hand operation.

Continuity Testing

WARNING: To avoid electric shock, never measure continuity on circuits that have voltage on them.

  1. Install one ‘AAA’ battery
  2. Remove all power from the circuit to be tested
  3. Remove the plastic probe tip
  4. Attach the alligator clip to one side of the device and touch the probe tip to the other side of the device
  5. The bulb will light if there is continuity
