CAUTION: This device is warranted to last 2 years from the date of purchase. If it fails before that time, we will replace it. Send Globe Electric the device, proof of purchase and register receipt along with your complete name and address. See caution text for proper use. This warranty is void if this product is misused in any way. This replacement is the sole remedy available and liability for incidental or consequential damage is expressly excluded. 8. For a direct plug-in or cord-connected power unit marked in accordance with 65.2:
   WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock When used outdoors, install only to a covered Class A GFCI protected receptable that is weatherproof with the power unit connected to the receptacle. If one is not provided, contact a qualified electrician for proper installation. Ensure that the power unit and cord do not interfere with completely closing the receptacle cover.

9. For a permanently connected power unit mked in accordance with 65.2:
   WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock. When used outdoors, install only to a covered Class A GFCL

10. WARNING: Risk of Fire. Installation involves special wiring methods to run wiring through a building structure. Consult a qualified electrician.

11. For a unit intended to be mounted greater than 0.30m (1 foot) from the ground surface:
    WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock. Mount the unit at a height greater than 1 foot from the ground surface.

Planning Installation

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Step 1: Connect the power adaptor to the cable located on the left of the controller (A). To ensure proper connectivity, align the arrows on each end of the cable and tighten the seal.
   

2. Step 2: Connect the string lights to the cable located on the right of the controller (B).
   This smart string light is linkable- connect up to 2 string lights together.
   
   To connect 2 string lights together, remove the cap at the end of the first string light and line it up with the connector from the second light, then tighten the seal for a secure installation.
   

3. Step 3: Connect the power adapter to an outlet. Follow the “Connecting Instructions”.
   

4. Step 4:  Place the string lights in your preferred location and use the included carabiner clips to secure them in place and facilitate installation.
   

CONNECTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Let’s get started!

   • Download the Globe Suiten” app from the App Store or Google Play to your mobile device
   • Launch the Globe SuiteTM app
   • To register, enter your email address, create a password, then log in to the app OR
   • Log in if you already have an account
     

2. Verify your network

   • Verify your network and ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channel
   • Consult your router documentation for detailed instructions on how to change wireless settings.

3. Scan mode

   • Power on your device

   • Select the “+” symbol on the top right hand corner

   • Follow instructions within the app

   • If your device is flashing rapidly and fails, try using EZ Mode EZ mode

   • Select the “+” symbol on the top right hand corner

   • Select “Manual”

   • Select your product type and follow the instructions within the app

   • If the connection fails, try using AP mode
     AP mode

   • Select the “+” symbol on the top right hand corner

   • Select “Manual”

   • Select your product type

   • Open the menu on the top right hand corner and select “AP mode”

   • Follow the instructions within the app
     

4. Set up voice assistance

   • Select “Profile,” and select “Integration”
   • Select your voice assistant and follow the instructions within the app

Did you know?
Most modern routers are dual-band, meaning they support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels. The most common wireless options are:

• Mixed: The router will broadcast both 2.4 GHz and S GHz simultaneously under the same SSID. The device will choose which to connect to based on multiple variables (congestion, distance to router, etc.).
• 2.4 GHz: Broadcast only on this channel
• 5 GHz: Broadcast only on this channel
• Dual 2.4 and 5 GHz using Separate SSIDS: Router will broadcast both channels and user manually decides which to connect to.
