TOTAL FINISHING TF-SONIC Ultra Sonic Cleaning Fluid
Always wear PPE, such as gloves and safety glasses
The TF-SONIC 33 is Heat Activated and will not work without heat. Recommend heating solution to desired temp (15-20 minutes) prior to putting parts in tank.
Fluid level MUST not fall further than 1/2” below the fill line indicator (as
pictured below)
Shake (thoroughly) the 5g pail w the solution in it prior to filling tank to
the fill line
Tablespoons of water will neutralize the solution in the tank.
Do not put wet (w/ H2O) parts in the ultrasonic or add water. If a part has
water on it – dry with compressed air prior to putting in the UltraSonic.
When not in use:
- Unplug unit
- Remove the Parts Basket
- Place the Lid on the Ultra Sonic Unit
Always make sure the unit is off or unplugged when not in use/end of shift.
To make sure the unit is not left on overnight, we recommend using an outlet
timer similar to the one pictured below
Place lid on the basket when cleaning to contain majority of the vapor.
It is not intended to seal when the basket is in the tank.
NEVER use anything flammable in the tank especially not solvents like
Acetone or N-Buyle Acetate
Small parts that can fall through the basket can be placed in a nylon strainer
bag or cheese cloth.
