PRECAUTIONS

Location
Using the unit in the following locations can result in a malfunction.

  • Locations of extreme temperature or humidity
  • Excessively dusty or dirty locations
  • Locations of excessive vibration
  • Close to magnetic fields

Power supply
Be sure to turn the power OFF when the unit is not in use. Use only the supplied AC adaptor and the correct voltage. To prolong battery life please cycle charge every three months if not in regular use. In order to make full use of the performance of the lithium battery, please make sure the temperature is between -10 and 60 °C when the battery is being charged.

Interference with other electrical devices
Radios and televisions placed nearby may cause reception interference. Operate this unit at a suitable distance from radios and televisions.

Handling
To avoid breakage, do not apply excessive force to the switches or controls.

Care
If the exterior becomes dirty, wipe it with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinner, cleaning compounds, or flammable polishes.

Keeping foreign matter out of your equipment
Never set any container with liquid in it near this equipment. If liquid gets into the equipment, it could cause a breakdown, fire, or electrical shock. Be careful not to let metal objects get into the equipment.

HOW TO USE

Step 1: After connecting the instrument ( MIC ), adjust each knob to the appropriate position, There are adjustable knobs

  1. PHASE
    Use the Phase switch to improve bass at low volume and suppress feedback at high volume

  2. LEVEL
    Use the LEVEL knob to set the signal level for the instrument input.

  3. BASS
    Boost here to add weight to the sound. In general, boost bass at low volumes and cut bass at higher levels.

  4. MIDDLE
    This control affects how well the instrument blends in or stands out in the mix. At loud volumes, a midrange cut will achieve a more natural sound.

  5. TREBLE
    Boost high to add“air” to the sound of the instrument.

  6. REVERB
    Control the reverb effect of the instrument or MIC. channels.

  7. CHORUS
    Control the chorus effect of the instrument channel.

Step 2: Adjust the master volume knob to the appropriate position you need

MASTER VOLUME
Set the level of the AG-80 with the master volume. In general, put the master volume as high as possible using less Gain (2 o’clock to 5 o’clock) to achieve the cleanest sound.

BLUETOOTH

Connect Bluetooth, press and hold button” ”. The blue indicator is On, which means the Bluetooth is turned On. The amp’s name is“AG-80A” A beep sound“Di” will be gendered when the Bluetooth connection succeeds.

OTG

When using this product for recording or live broadcasting, it will need one OTG line to connect to the cellphone or recording device(buy separately). You can also use Bluetooth at the same time, and the Bluetooth sound will be recorded.

OUTPUT

Balanced XLR output on the main mix, can connect to an external loudspeaker system or mixer.

Remind

  1. The Bluetooth volume level is preset according to the Android system. Please turn the volume down accordingly if you use a Los system phone.
  2. If you need to change the BlueTooth connection of the amp to another phone, please disconnect the previous connection.
  3.  Both guitar channel shares common effect groups(chorus and reverb).
