Rechargeable Li-ion Battery User’s Manual
This battery, for use exclusively in Nikon digital cameras, can be charged repeatedly in a dedicated battery charger. Before use, read these instructions and the documentation provided with the camera and charger. Fully charge the battery before first use and attach a battery chamber cover (supplied with the camera) before inserting the battery in the camera. When using the battery in compatible multi-power battery packs, attach a BL-5 battery chamber cover (available separately). Attach the supplied terminal cover when the battery is not in use.

Delaying action could result in eye injuries. • Follow the instructions of airline personnel.

Should a child swallow a battery seek immediate medical attention. • Keep batteries out of reach of household pets and other animals. • Do not immerse batteries in water or expose to rain. • Discontinue use immediately should you notice any changes in the batteries, such as discoloration or deformation.• Cease charging if batteries do not charge in the specified period of time.• When batteries are no longer needed, insulate the terminals with tape. • If battery liquid comes into contact with a person’s skin or clothing, immediately rinse the affected area with plenty of clean water. Failure to observe this precaution could result in skin irritation
