Operating Your Light
The On/Off button operates the different lighting modes.
- 1st click: Low LED light (125 lumens, 175 hours of light)
- 2nd click: High LED light (1000 lumens, 6 hours of light)
- Hold for 2 seconds to enable strobe lighting
Charging Your Light
When the light is charging, by either solar or USB, the charging indicator
will show a red light. The indicator will shine brighter with a stronger
charge and will turn green when a full charge is achieved. The charging
indicator will not display green when charging from a light source. After
initially removing the product from its packaging, charge it fully with direct
power via Micro USB before using the solar charger. Leaving your flashlight
charging for extended periods of time will not harm the rechargeable cell.
There are two ways to charge your light:
- Micro USB port: Unscrew the end cap by rotating it counter clockwise. Insert the micro USB cable, insert other end into any standard USB charger or suitable USB wall outlet. Typically 6 hours of charge time is needed to fully charge the light from a standard wall outlet if flashlight is completely drained. The charging indicator will show green when the light is fully charged.
- Solar panel charge: Position solar panel into the brightest sunlight or other lighting possible, with direct light on as much of the panel as possible. Typically charges full in 28 hours of time, depending upon brightness and intensity of light source. The charging indicator will not display green when the light is fully charged by the solar panel.
How to Charge Your Mobile Device or Tablet
Unscrew the end cap by rotating it counter clockwise. Insert the larger end of the USB cable into the larger of the two ports. Insert the other end of the cable into compatible mobile device. This product will not charge a device when the flashlight battery is lower than 20%, in order to reserve power for the flashlight.
PRODUCT WARNINGS
Do not use if broken, bent, cracked or damaged parts are present. Any light
that appears damaged in any way or operates abnormally must be removed from
service. Inspect before each use.
- Do not disassemble the flashlight. The LED cannot be replaced.
- Do not operate flashlight near fire, flammable liquids or in gaseous or explosive atmospheres.
- This flashlight is not a toy; not recommended for use by children
- To avoid risk of eye injury, look away immediately if beam is shone directly into your eyes.
- This device is waterproof, but not intended for underwater use or extended submersion. Ensure both the top and the bottom ends of the flashlight are tightened before introducing to water.
- Heat Warning; The lens area will become hot if run on high for extended periods of time.
