Instruction
SAFETY
- By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the damage.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and make sure the cord cannot become entangled.
- The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
- The user must not leave the device unattended while it is connected to the supply.
- This appliance is only to be used for household purposes and only for the purpose it is made for.
- This appliance shall not be used by children aged less than 8 years. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless older than 8 and supervised.
- To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in the water or any other liquid.
- WARNING : In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
- WARNING : Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
- Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
- Do not use the appliance with a programmer, timer, separate remote-control system or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
- Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
- Please do not install the appliance close to curtains and other combustible materials. This could cause a fire.
- The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
- The heater needs to be installed so that the switches and other controls cannot be touched by a person in the bath or shower.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
- When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odour will occur. This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This odour is only temporary and will disappear soon.
USE

Place the appliance on a stable and flat surface.

Plug the appliance in an earthed socket.

Press the On/Off switch at the back of the appliance to turn the appliance on in standby mode. The appliance will beep once.

Press the On/Off icon on the display to turn the appliance on. The appliance will begin operating in Fan mode.
Note: The indicated temperature on the heater may deviate in standby mode but stabilizes once the appliance has been activated. -
Press the Mode icon to select the desired mode – High-heating – Lowheating or to return to Fan mode.

Low-heating mode
In Low-heating mode the appliance will blow warm air at a low speed.
- To activate the Low-heating mode, press the Mode icon until the lowheating indicator appears in the display.
High-heating mode
In High-heating mode the appliance will blow warm air at a high speed.
- To activate the high-heating mode, press the Mode icon until the Highheating indicator appears in the display.
Fan mode
In Fan mode the appliance will blow cool air.
- To activate the fan mode, press the mode icon until the heating modes are deactivated and are no longer shown in the display.
Adjusting the temperature
When using the heating modes you can adjust the temperature between 10°C and 35°C using the Plus and Minus icons. The set temperature will blink in the display then revert to the current room temperature.
ECO function
The ECO function compares the target temperature with the current room temperature and automatically selects the most appropriate heating level to guarantee an optimum comfort level, while reducing the energy consumption. While the ECO function is on, the appliance may switch alternately between the Low and High heating levels.
- To activate the ECO function, press the ECO icon on the display. The ECO indicator will show in the display and the appliance will start operating in ECO mode.
Timer Off function
- Activate the desired operating mode.
- Press the Timer icon. The timer indicator will show in the display.
- Use the Plus and Minus icons to set the desired time in hours for the appliance to shut down. After 5 seconds, the display will revert to showing the current room temperature.
- The Timer can be set between 1-24 hours.
Oscillation function
- To activate the oscillation function, while the appliance is in use, press the Oscillation icon. The appliance will start oscillating and the oscillation on indicator will show in the display.
- To deactivate the oscillation function press the Oscillation icon again.
Anti-tip-over
This unit is equipped with a safety tip-over switch that automatically shuts off the heater element if the heater is not in the upright position. If the unit is in heating mode when tilted, 5 beeps will be sounded then the unit will shut off following a 30-second countdown. If it is in fan mode when tilted, the unit will shut off immediately. Press the On/Off icon when the unit is returned to the upright position.
To turn the appliance off

To turn the appliance off press the On/Off icon.
If the appliance is operating in any of the heating modes it will shut down following the digital countdown from 30 to 0 seconds. -
When the appliance is not in use, turn the standby switch off and unplug the appliance.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe appliance surfaces. Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into the unit.
Clean the air suction opening from time to time with a fine brush.
