It is important to read this user manual prior to using your new product for the first time.
In order to fully benefit from this product, please follow the instructions in this user manual very carefully, especially Warning and Safety chapters.
Store this user manual in a safe place for future reference. We are sure your new EScooter will satisfy your needs.
This device lives up to the highest standards, innovative technology, and high user comfort.
The flash with the symbol of an arrowhead, inside an equilateral triangle, alerts the user about the presence of a dangerous tension not isolated inside the product which can be sufficiently powerful to constitute a risk of electrocution.
The point of exclamation inside an equilateral triangle alerts the user about the presence of important operating instructions and maintenance in the document enclosed in the package.
CAUTION

Do not open the cover of the Electric Charger or any other Electric Scooter parts. In no case, the user is allowed to operate inside the Electric parts. Only a qualified technician from the manufacturer is entitled to operate.
The main plug is used as the disconnect Charger device.
Incorrect replacement of the battery may lead to risk, including the replacement of another similar or the same type.
Do not expose batteries to heat such as sun or fire or something like that.
IMPORTANT: Please read carefully this Manual and keep it for future reference. Always follow all warnings and marking instructions. This product is fully compliant with Norm: EN17128 (class2), Designation: PLEV (Personal Light Electric Vehicles) with max allowed speed of 25km/h.

  1. WARNING! Never use the product close to a water source

  3. IMPORTANT: Carefully read the Manual and understand the performance of the Electric Scooter, do not use the Electric Scooter and do not lend it to persons who can’t manipulate the Escooter.

  4. Please practice in an open traffic-free space on gear level 1 before riding on the bicycle lane.

    The electric scooter is designed for adult use only. Kids under age 14 are not allowed to ride the e-scooter. The rider should be 120-200cm tall and must weigh more than 20kg. The maximum weight is 120kg.
    • When riding the electric scooter, we strongly recommend using a helmet and safety gear such as knee and elbow pads to avoid injury. Always wear shoes while.
    • Take the time to learn the basics of the practice to avoid any serious accident that can take place in the first months;.

    • Whenever you ride this vehicle, you risk injury due to loss of control, collision, and falling. In order to ride safely, you must read and follow all instructions and warnings in the user manual.
    • It is not designed for professional usage (e.g. using a scooter for delivery). This vehicle is not intended for acrobatic use.
    • The Vehicle shall be used only for one person
    • Accessories and any additional items which are not approved by the manufacturer shall not be used. Do not divert the use of the vehicle

  6. The electric scooter is a personal transport vehicle and it is designed for one person’s use only. Please do not carry a passenger on this electric scooter.

  7. Do not ride the electric scooter on public roads, unsafe surfaces, or off-road.

  8. Any Load attached to the handlebar will affect the stability of the vehicle.

  9. Please during the riding operations always keep both hands on the handlebar and both feet on the standing board. Please do not jump on the standing board. Do not perform stunts or turn abruptly. Traffic in the city has many obstacles to cross such as curbs or steps. It is recommended to avoid obstacle jumps. It is important to anticipate and adapt your trajectory and speed to those of a pedestrian before crossing these obstacles. It is also recommended to get out of the vehicle when these obstacles become dangerous due to their shape. height or slippage.

  10. Do not turn off the motor power while riding the scooter.

  11. Do not try to ride:
    • Over a gap of more than 3 cm. This may cause injury to the rider or damage the vehicle.
    • When riding on a rough or bumpy road, please slow down the electric scooter or stop riding the vehicle.
    • On slippery surfaces such as oil or ice.
    • In weather conditions with temperatures below 0°C.
    • Over the water to avoid damage to the electrical parts of the vehicle.

  12. Do not use or move the Electric Scooter while the battery charger is connected. If you do, it may cause the power cable, the battery charger, and/or the charging port damaged.

  13. Do not ride the E-Scooter if there is a fault with the battery or any component of the power system. Otherwise, you may lose control and suffer serious injury.

  14. Be sure to check the remaining battery capacity before riding at night. The light powered by the battery pack will go off soon after the remaining battery capacity decreases to the point where riding with assisted power is no longer possible. Riding without a light may increase the risk of injury.

  15. It is recommendable to charge the battery at 30-70% of the total capacity of the battery. Avoid totally discharging your scooter’s battery to zero charges before charging.

  16. Do not modify or transform the vehicle, including the steering tube and sleeve, stem, folding mechanism, and rear brake. Do not install non-original parts or accessories. If you do, they may damage the product, cause a fault or increase the risk of being injured.

  17. Preparations before riding: Wear your helmet, gloves, and other protective gear before riding to protect yourself from damage in case of an accident.
    Each time, check the condition of your scooter to make sure all parts are tight. If necessary, be sure to tighten all loose parts before driving. Driving with loose or insufficiently fastened parts can cause injury, fall or mechanical damage not covered by the warranty!
    WARNING! As with any mechanical component, a vehicle is subject to high stresses and wear.
    The various materials and components may react differently to wear or fatigue. If the expected service life for a component has been exceeded, it may break suddenly, therefore risking causing injuries to the user. Cracks, scratches, and discoloration in the areas subject to high stresses indicate that the component has exceeded its service life and should be replaced.

  18. Driving conditions: ambient temperature of 0 to 40°C, no wind, and flat roads; without frequent startup and brake, the general running distance may vary (according to the battery capacity, model, terrain condition, and load weight).

  19. Maximum load: the maximum load of the E-scooter is 120kg; Do not overload your scooter because it can cause damage to the scooter or personal injury.

  20. In case of frequent brake, startup, uphill, headwind running, muddy roads, overload, and others, a large quantity of electric power from the storage battery will be consumed, thus affecting the continued mileage, so we recommend that you avoid the above factors when riding.

  21. If the storage battery is disabled for a long time, make sure to charge it enough, and it needs to be additionally charged once if its storage is more than a month.

  22. Make sure to pay attention: the Electric scooter can not wade for a long time because if water enters the controller and motor wheel, it may cause a short circuit to damage the electrical appliances!

  23. Prohibit unauthorized demolition or alteration, and the company is not responsible for all losses resulting.

  24. The scrapped battery can not be discarded randomly, so as to avoid environmental pollution.

  25. When unfolding the vehicle, please press the folding system handle till it clicks and make sure that it is in the proper place.

  26. Eliminate any sharp edges caused by use.
    CHARGER

  27. Never use this battery charger to charge other electrical devices.

  28. Do not use any other charger or charging method to recharge the batteries of the E-scooter. Using any other charger may lead to a fire, explosion or damage to the batteries.

  29. This Charger may be used by children aged 8 or over and by persons with physical, sensory, or mental impairments, or who lack the necessary experience and knowledge, provided that they are supervised and instructed on how to use the appliance safely and they understand the dangers involved. Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by unsupervised children.

  30. Although the battery charger is water resistant, do not allow it to be submerged in water or other liquids. Furthermore, never use the battery charger if the terminals are wet.

  31. Never touch the charger’s power plug, charging port, or contacts with wet hands. You may suffer an electric shock.

  32. Do not touch the charger’s contacts with metal objects. Do not allow any foreign matter to enter, it may cause short circuits in the contacts, which may cause electric shock, fire, or damage to the battery charger.

  33. Regularly clean the DC Adapter power plug and Charging port on a scooter. Moisture, dust, or other particles could reduce the effectiveness of the insulation and cause a fire or scooter damage! The protective plug on the charging port on the scooter must be always properly closed! In case the charging port is wet or dirty, do not plug in the DC Adapter plug! Firstly, properly clean the adapter plug and scooter socket, dry all the parts and then plug and charge the adapter plug!

  34. Never dismantle or modify the battery charger. You may cause a fire or suffer an electric shock.

  35. Do not use multi-socket adaptors or extension cables. Using a multi-socket adaptor or similar may exceed the rated current and cause a fire.

  36. Do not use the cable tied up or coiled and do not store the cable coiled around the body of the main charger. If the cable is damaged it may cause a fire or you may suffer an electric shock.

  37. Firmly insert the power plug and charging plug into the socket. If the power plug and charging plug are not fully inserted, this may cause a fire due to an electric discharge or overheating.

  38. Do not use the battery charger near flammable materials or gases. This may cause a fire or explosion.

  39. Never cover the battery charger or place objects on it while it is charging. This may lead to internal overheating and cause a fire.

  40. Do not drop the battery charger or expose it to strong impacts. Otherwise, it may cause a fire or electric shock.

  41. If the power cable is damaged, stop using the battery charger and take it to an authorized dealer.

  42. Handle the power cable with care. Plugging in the battery charger indoors while the bicycle is outdoors may lead to the power cable being caught on or damaged by doors or windows.

  43. Do not pass the wheels of the scooter over the power cable or plug. Otherwise, you may damage the power cable or port.
    BATTERY

  44. Keep the battery and battery charger out of the reach of children.

  45. Never let the battery go out of power, recharge it promptly after it is fully discharged!

  46. The battery is located in the E-Scooter body and it is not possible to remove it. However, do not touch the battery or battery charger during charging. As the battery pack and battery charger reach temperatures of 40–70°C during charging, touching them may lead to first-degree burns.

  47. If the battery case is damaged or cracked or you notice unusual smells, do not use it. The leakage of fluid from the battery may cause serious injury. Contact an authorized distributor, reseller, or authorized service center.

  49. Do not dismantle or modify the battery. If you do, it may cause the battery to heat up or catch fire, causing serious injury or damage to property.

  50. If you do not use the electric scooter for several months, charge the battery to 100% before storing it. In addition, it is advisable to turn on the scooter every month, let the engine run for a few minutes and recharge the battery up to 100%.

  51. Do not drop the battery or subject it to impacts. If you do, it may cause the battery to heat up or catch fire, causing serious injury or damage to property.

  52. Do not dispose of the battery in a fire or expose it to heat sources. Otherwise, this may cause a fire or explosion, resulting in serious injury or damage to property. Do not put the battery on fire!

  53. Battery capacity and Distance Range may decrease if you are using E-Scooter in cold weather, below 0°C

  54. Do not store your e-scooter in the car trunk for a too long time in hot weather. Store the scooter in a cool and dry place.

Notes
At the time of purchase, please select and buy a model suitable for your need, and the drivers must have skilled driving techniques before driving on the roads. In order to your correct use and security, please pay attention to the following matters:

  1. In the process of use, pay attention to checking the fastening status of the motor and other structures, and if a loose phenomenon is found, it should be tightened timely.
  2. When starting the power supply or meeting a steep slope, assist as far as possible to reduce the starting current and extend the battery life and continuation line mileage.
  3. On rainy days, please pay special attention The use of e-scooters is not recommended during rain, snow, or ice.
  4. Users must use the charger specified by the manufacturer for charging the storage battery. When charging, put the battery and charger smoothly.
  5. It is prohibited that other items are covered on the battery box and charger to impede heat, where a good ventilation environment should be maintained.
  6. Please keep appropriate air pressure inside the tires (if tires are with air pressure tube), so as to avoid increasing the resistance when driving, and easily wearing the tires and deforming the Rim.
  7. Drivers should abide by traffic rules, and the riding speed should be controlled below 25km/h.
  8. When high-speed running or downhill, control your speed to avoid hard braking to avoid the center of gravity from moving ahead, thus resulting in danger.
  9. After driving a long distance, allow the battery to cool for 30 minutes and then connect it to the charger. Do the same thing after driving in cold weather conditions
  10. Do not use E-Scooter in snow or stormy weather conditions!

IMPORTANT: The protective cover of the e-scooter charger socket must always be properly positioned in its place to prevent water or dust from entering. Otherwise, moisture or impurities may cause short circuits or unit malfunction. Defects caused by user negligence are not covered by the warranty Before each ride, always check that the e-scooter is in good condition and that there are no loose parts. Use the control panel to control the scooter, the specific features are as follows.

  1. Long press the power switch button (1) to turn on the machine, and the front light, lower atmosphere light, tail light, and brake light are all on. The control panel shows the power and speed.
  2. After turning it on, the control panel display shows “1”, indicating that the speed is 1st gear (Comfort mode – max speed 15km/h). Press the button to display 2nd gear (Max speed 25km/h – Sport mode). Walk mode (max speed 6km/h) which is recommended to drive on a pedestrian walk path (follow local regulations). In Walk mode, the rear red light flashes, and the front light lights on automatically
  3. Press the button twice until the front light is on and press the button twice until the front light goes out.
  4. Press the button three times to display the total mileage, then press the button three times to display the speed.
  5. When the brakes are applied in an emergency, the brightness of the brake light increases after the brake handles are gripped
  6. Power display: five lights are 100%, four lights are 75%, three lights are 50%, two lights are 25%, and one light is 10%.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

  1. Install the brakes to the correct position with the Hex wrench (M5 in the tool bag).

  2. Hold the scooter upright, to ensure that the lock will not be affected, please keep the folding spanner at the bottom. Pull the folding spanner to the top, then the scooter is completely locked.

  3. 1 Fasten the scooter standpipe and fold out the kickstand

    3.3 Use the M3 hex wrench to lock the M3X4 screws on both sides of the vertical tube as shown in the following image

3.4 After the installation is completed, switch on and off to detect the scooter

CHARGING

Note: Please Charge the Scooter Battery first before first use.

  1. Open the rubber cap.

  2. Insert the charging plug first. Then plug in Charger into the power socket!
    While the Charging process, the light on the charger will be red. When Battery is full, the charger led indicator turns green.
    IMPORTANT: After charging is completed, disconnect Charger from Power the socket FIRSTLY, then disconnect the charging plug from the e-scooter.

  3. Close the rubber cap!

IMPORTANT:
The protective cover of the e-scooter charger socket must always be properly positioned in its place to prevent water or dust from entering. Otherwise, moisture or impurities

RIDING OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS

Before Riding

  • Choose a suitable venue for riding.
  • Unfold the electric scooter according to the instructions (The folding spanner must be in the proper position and the lock mechanism must be tightened!).
  • When riding the electric scooter, always use a helmet, shoes, and safety gear such as knee and elbow pads to avoid injury

Riding

  • Long Press the power button to turn on the power. The speed is set by default to Speed mode level 1.

  • For safety purposes, the Electric scooter has a safe start design which means the motor can start only when the speed of the vehicle is above 3km/h. It prevents the motor start when the acceleration handle is pressed by mistake. To start the riding operations, put one foot on the standing board and the other foot on the ground and kick scoot it like a classic kick scooter. When the scooter is in motion and its speed is above 3km/h, smoothly use the acceleration handle to start the motor. Once the motor starts put the other foot on the standing board and continue riding.

  • When riding, adjust the gear level from 1 to 2 circularly (Short press button), and use lights (Two short button presses) and bell, according to the road conditions and according to the situation.

  • Release the throttle can slow down the speed, and an automatic energy recovery system can help to slow it down. Emergent brakes need to pull the handle brake on the left side.

  • WARNING: Be aware of the possibility of unpredictable sudden obstacles on your way and control the speed level.

Braking

  • The unit has a front electric brake (engine brake) and a rear disc brake. Use the brake handle for braking the front and rear brakes at the same time, under normal circumstances. Please, adjust your speed according to driving conditions and take care that you can stop safely in any situation.
  • The greater pressure you put, the greater the braking force will be applied. Be aware that hard braking may result in an accident due to slipping of the wheels, loss of balance, and fall of the vehicle. Hard braking might also cause damage to the tire.

Riding Security

  • Please avoid riding in the rain. Forbidden to drive on ponding water areas that are deeper than 2cm

  • Do not accelerate downhill

  • Encounter deceleration zone/elevator threshold/potholes and other unconventional road pavement, please do not pass at high speed. Encounter rough roads please keep at a low speed (510km /h). A slight kneeling allows you to better adapt to the complex road.

  • To avoid the head hitting the door frame. elevators and other obstacles.

  • Do not press on the accelerator pin while walking with the e -scooter

  • Avoid barriers while driving.

  • Do not stand with one foot on the pedal or on the floor while driving.

  • Do not hang any heavy items on the handlebar.

  • Do not try to do any dangerous movement. Forbidden to drive on the driveways or in crowded residential areas

  • Forbidden to rotate the handle strongly while driving in high-speed residential areas.

  • Forbidden to drive it while there is more than one person, and/or holding a child. Pregnant women and users younger than 14 years old are not allowed to ride.

  • DO NOT ride after drinking or taking medicine. while driving..

  • Forbidden to ride with overweight (maximum load: 120Kg).

  • Forbidden to drive without your hands holding the handlebar while driving and go up/down stairs or to jump.

  • Don’t park electric scooters in the building’s lobby, evacuation corridor, or safety exit.

  • It is forbidden to modify electric scooters or batteries. Private modification may cause an unstable electronic system and cause dangerous situations when riding. Or Fire.

FOLDING AND TRANSPORTATION

Pull the safety lock (1) up meanwhile holding the standpipe, then open up the folding spanner (2), aim it at the bell and the fender hook, then buckle the bell with  the back fender.

Check before each ride!

Recommended tire pressure:
~ 340 kPa (3.4Bar; 3.35Atm)

Before riding an electric scooter, please carefully check the scooter’s condition to make sure that there are no signs of looseness or damage on any part.
Check the tightness of all mechanic parts!
Before using the electric scooter, check whether the power circuit, front and rear lights, reflectors, and front and rear brakes are normal, and stop using it and repair it in time if there is an abnormality.

USE AND MAINTENANCE

Tires and other parts

  • The electric scooter uses rubber elastic tires. When the tires are worn out or have a puncture, they need to be replaced timely.
    Check and maintain proper tire pressure (340kPa recommendation)

  • Contact the official distributor or service to replace the original tires.

  • Inspect your scooter and its tires every month, and check if the screws are tightened enough. If they are loose, tighten them.

Battery

  • The electric scooter is equipped with a lithium polymer battery. The average lifespan of the battery is 400 cycles. Under normal use and maintenance, the battery lifespan can generally reach more than 600 cycles with a minimum decrease in Battery.
  • Before using the scooter for the first time, please charge the battery to the full charge.
  • Avoid totally depleting your scooter’s battery before charging. Always make sure it is a minimum of 10 % charged. For satisfactory vehicle performance, the battery has to be charged a minimum of 50 %
  • Do not leave your electric scooter with a significantly discharged battery for a few hours. Charge it promptly.
  • When storing the electric scooter for a long period, make sure the battery is at least 40-50 % charged. It is advisable to charge your scooter a minimum of once per 30 days.
  • Always use only the original charger that corresponds to the model of the scooter.
  • Do not leave your electric scooter in the cold temperature below 0 or under direct sun. Keep the battery dry. Negative environmental conditions can damage the battery capacity.
  • Polymer lithium batteries have to be treated with extreme caution. Unappropriated charging, damage or overheating can result in a fire. Do not leave your electric scooter to charge without supervision. Do not leave the electric scooter to charge overnight. Always supervise the electric scooter while it is charging and avoid battery over-charge. Do not use, charge or leave a damaged battery unattended and follow the disposal protocols immediately.

Charger

The dedicated charger provided by Factory has a charging protection timing function.
Charging instructions

  • Open the charging port cover on the electric scooter and insert the charger output connector into the charging port.
  • Insert the charger input power plug into the power socket (AC100V-240V, 50/60Hz)
  • The charger light is red to indicate that charging is in progress; when the charger light turns green, it indicates that the battery is fully charged.
  • When charging the battery, place it in a dry, ventilated environment.
  • After charging, be sure to return the protective rubber cover on the scooter! Entry of dust, water, or other foreign objects into the slot can damage the scooter!

Disc brakes
If you feel the brake is tight when you are riding, you can adjust the disc brake by loosing the screw on the Rotary Knob with an M5 hex wrench (As shown in below picture), turning the Rotary knob to the right by a little, and tighten the screw with an M5 hex wrench. If you feel the brake is loose. you can turn the Rotary knob to the left by a little after losing the screw on the Rotary Knob with an M5 hex wrench, and then tighten the screw

Handle shake
If you feel the standpipe is loose and shakes when you are riding, please check for fork and folding mechanism and tight loose part.

Suspension
Suspension adjustment is not intended to be performed by end users, only by authorized service.

APP QUICK START

For an easier and more comfortable ride and the use of additional functions of your e-scooter, you can install a special application on your mobile device and connect your scooter and mobile device via Bluetooth.

WARNING There are safety risks when learning to ride the Electric Scooter. You must read the Safety Instructions via the APP before your first ride! For your safety, your new Electric Scooter is not activated on Sport speed mode. The Electric Scooter maintains low riding speed (Normal or Comfort speed mode), and can not be ridden with full function. Press the Speed mode button to activate Speed mode 2 (Sport mode) and enjoy the full performance.
For App installation

  1. Search the App name “ MS Energy m ” on the Apple store or Google play store to download the APP.

  2. Open the phone’s Bluetooth and GPS location.

  3. Open the App „ MS Energy m“ to connect the scooter
    Bluetooth to enter the dashboard.
    In the APP dashboard, there are switches for:
    a. light
    b. locker
    c. Speed mode
    d. Shows the scooter speed
    e. ODO Mileage, Remaining Mileage, Battery level status, Cruise Control status, Unit temperature, and current.

Use the control panel to control the scooter, the specific features are as follows.

  • LOCK: :
    Click the Lock button, and set a password to lock the scooter, only entering a password can unlock the scooter.

  • SETTINGS :
    Click the Setting icon on the dashboard, to set the Cruise control, Speed mode, Enter your Battery Capacity, Energy Recovery Intensity, and Driving Mode, and adjust Max speed in the Drive modes, Cruise condition speed (adjusting the speed below which Cruise Control cannot be engaged).

  • CONNECTION:
    Click the Bluetooth button to establish a Bluetooth connection.

  • LIGHT ON:
    Click the Light Button to Turn On/Off Lights.

  • SPORT MODE:
    Click the Speed mode button to change Standard Speed mode into Sport mode (Max speed 25km/h)

  • INFO PAGE:
    Press the key to display the info page and information related to your scooter.

The scooter is allowed to upgrade firmware by APP, click firmware update to install the newest firmware if available.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If your E-Scooter does not operate as usual or appears to be faulty please read carefully this section. Many operational issues can be resolved by users.
