Enhanced Connectivity Bundle Software

You have purchased the Enhanced Connectivity Bundle (ECB) software. The setup of ECB involves three components to be completed before you can take advantage of its features: software installation/configuration, network setup/configuration, and device connection/registration.

The device connection/registration must be completed last and can be completed by the product installer if the other preparation steps below are completed.

Preparation for the Hardware Installation

Your IT professional must complete the steps below in preparation for the product installer:

1. Software Setup:
   a. Install the PV Transfer software on the computer/server per the instruction guide
   b. Start the PV Transfer software service
   c. Enable Device Registration Auto-Approval (Default)
   d. Write the Server URL below

2. Wi-Fi Connection
   a. Setup at least one Wi-Fi Access Point with adequate coverage of the vehicle parking area.
   b. Configure an SSID on the AP with a name/password that meets the requirements.
   c. Write the Wi-Fi SSID Name and Wi-Fi Password below
   d. Use a laptop or device with Wi-Fi and connect to the SSID from the location the vehicles will be parked.
   e. Open a web browser on the device and enter the Server URL, if the “PV Transfer” web page opens successfully it confirms that the server is accessible; devices can now be connected.

The Wi-Fi AP and SSID must meet the network requirements in the ECB Overview document. If the requirements are not met, the installer will not be able to complete the setup. The document can be found at the link below:

Installation

The installation technician will complete the steps following below to connect the devices to the software:

1. Install the DVR unit(s) and the vehicle Wi-Fi antennas required for connectivity.
2. Enable the DVR unit’s Wi-Fi Client and connect it to the Wi-Fi AP using the SSID and Password provided above.
3. Enable File Transfer and set the Server URL provided above.
4. Register the device.
