Activation

Vehicles without third-row seats

1. NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

NOTE: Rear doors removed for clarity.

Position the seat backrest in the fully flat position.

1. Release the second-row seat cushion latch.
2. Position the seat backrest in the full flat position.

Vehicles with third-row seats

1. NOTE: RH side is shown, LH side similar.

NOTE: Rear doors removed for clarity.

Position the seat backrest in the full flat position.

1. Release the second-row seat cushion latch.
2. Position the seat backrest in the full flat position.

NOTE: RH side is shown, LH side similar.

Fold the second-row seats forward.

1. Release the second-row seat latch.
2. Tilt the second-row seat forward.

Vehicles with third-row manual seats

1. NOTE: RH side is shown, LH side similar.

NOTE: If equipped and the seat backrests are in the up position. On both sides, position the third-row back seat headrest in full flat position.

Vehicles with manual liftgate

1. Remove the liftgate latch access cover from the center of the liftgate trim panel.
2. Insert a flat-bladed screwdriver through the access cover and press the liftgate latch manual release lever to the down position to release the liftgate latch. Use the General Equipment: Flat-Bladed Screwdriver
3. Open the liftgate.

Vehicles with a power liftgate

1. NOTE: The third-row power seat will not operate without the liftgate open.

Remove the liftgate latch access cover from the center of the liftgate trim panel.

1. Insert a flat-bladed screwdriver through the access cover and press the liftgate latch manual release lever down to release the liftgate latch. Use the General Equipment: Flat-Bladed Screwdriver
2. Open the liftgate.
3. Install the removed components.
