SAFETY
GENERAL SAFETY
- Always perform automotive testing in a safe environment.
- Keep your work area clean and well lit.
- Keep clothing, hair, hands, tools, test equipment, etc. away from all moving or hot engine parts.
- Operate the tool in a well-ventilated work area.
- DO NOT operate the tool in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or heavy dust.
- DO NOT use the tool around corrosive chemicals which can damage the tool.
- DO NOT abuse the flexible cable. Never use the flexible cable to carry the tool.
- DO NOT drop the borescope, it is not shock proof.
- Keep bystanders and children away while operating the tool.
- Keep the tool dry, clean, free from oil, water and grease. Use a small amount of mild detergent on a clean cloth to clean the outside of the tool when necessary and store in a dry, childproof area.
- DO NOT Attempt to open, dismantle, modify or service the battery pack.
- DO NOT Crush, puncture, short external contacts or dispose of in fire or water.
- DO NOT Expose to temperatures above 40°C or below -10°C.
- DO NOT Expose to direct sunlight for long periods of time.
- DO NOT Expose to moisture.
INTRODUCTION
Large 110mm LCD screen with a resolution up to 1080p full HD for video recording, playback and still images. Tablet design makes the image incredibly clear but also very portable. Features controls for light intensity, digital zoom and image rotation. Waterproof probe pod with IP67 rating. Powered by 2600 mAh rechargeable with 5 hour working time (USB Charging cable supplied). SD card can be installed to achieve file storage (not supplied). Kit includes 45° mirror, hook and magnetic pick-up. Cable Length: 2m.

CHARGING
- Connect the USB cable (supplied) to the unit (fig.1) and the other end to a USB power source.
- While charging, the red LED on the lower left corner of the front face will light (fig.1). Once charged, the light will go out. Remove the USB cable once the charge light goes out.
- NOTE : During operation, a battery state symbol will show in the top left hand corner of the display screen (fig.1).
OPERATION
- When charged, press the On/Off button (fig.1.3) to turn the unit on. If the unit has charge, the LED (section 4.2) will show green.
- MENU OPTIONS
- To display the menu, press the Menu button (fig.1.1).
- To cycle through the Menu options use the Down arrow button (fig.1.4).
- When the required option is highlighted, press the OK button (fig.1.3) to enter the options’ choices.
- Use Down arrow button (fig.1.4) to highlight the required option and press OK button (fig.1.3) to accept it.
- To exit the menu section, press the menu button (fig.1.1).
- OPERATIONAL CONTROLS
- To decrease bore illumination when in use, press light down button (fig.1.2). To increase bore illumination when in use, press light up button (fig.1.4.). The light level indicator bar will display the light value selected.
- To take photographs, press the Photo/Video button
- (fig.1.5). To record vIdeo, press and hold the Photo/Video button (fig.1.5).
- To review photos/videos, select the relevant menu option and scroll through using the up and down arrows (fig.1.2, fig.1.4). When highlighted press OK button (fig.1.3).
ACCESSORIES
The accessories included with this unit can be used to retrieve small parts,
or provide better viewing into inaccessible areas. These can be attached to
the camera head using the accessory collar as follows:
- Slide the desired accessory through the accessory collar and align with the notch inside.
- Position the hook on the end of the accessory behind the camera head.
- Slide the accessory collar over the camera head with the accessory in place, until tightened.NOTE: These accessories are not designed for lifting heavy objects or pulling with force. Always hold the camera probe in your hand while using an accessory. Pulling on the LCD unit will put stress on the cable connection and could cause the unit to malfunction. Use only for small, lightweight objects
MAINTENANCE
- Keep unit, probe and cables clean and check for damage before every use. If damage is observed, remove from use until unit is repaired.
- The battery is not designed to be removed.
- If the device is not used, it should be stored in a dry place, away from children.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools,
accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and
disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the
product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any
fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and
fluids according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the
EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the
product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally
protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling
information.
BATTERY REMOVAL
Under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Jack Sealey Ltd
are required to inform potential purchasers of products containing batteries
(as defined within these regulations), that they are registered with Valpak’s
registered compliance scheme. Jack Sealey Ltd’s Batteries Producer
