Detachable Remote

Quick Steps for Remote

  • Step 1: On your phone, tap Settings > Bluetooth, and then turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Step 2: Hold down the shutter button (about 2s) until indicator light starts flashing to turn on the remote control.
  • Step 3: Once the Bluetooth name of “Selfie” appears in the display, select it and tap “pair”.
  • Step 4: Press the Shutter button to take photos. Step 5: Hold down the shutter button (about 3s) until indicator light goes out to turn off the remote control.
  • Reminder: The remote control is compatible with Android 4.3, IOS 5.0 and later.

Replace the Battery

Reminder: The Bluetooth remote control has two types. Please follow the corresponding steps to replace the battery according to the type of your purchased product.

Covering Type
Force apart the upper shell at the groove on the side of the remote with fingernail, then replace the battery, and finally fasten the shell back. CHOETECH-KH5S-Portable-Tripod-Selfie-Stick-5

Sliding Type
Slide the back cover in the direction of the arrow as shown, then replace a new battery, and finally insert the cover back. CHOETECH-KH5S-Portable-

Troubleshooting:

  1. If your phone is unable to connect to the remote.
    Delete the Bluetooth pairing on your phone, reboot the remote and start a new device search.

  2. If your Android phone can’t take photos when you press the shutter button,.
    Open the camera App and change the “Volume button function” to “Default” or “Shutter”.

Attention:

  1. Don’t store the product in icy or damp environment.
  2. Don’t place the product in the heat.
  3. When replacing the battery, place the positive pole “+” of the battery outwards.
  4. This product contains a battery, please place it out of the touch of infants to prevent children from swallowing it by mistake.
  5. Don’t use the product in restricted district to avoid violating public order.
