Unpack the light and check it carefully for damage before using it. Retain the packaging. In order to protect the product against shocks, dust and humidity during transport and storage, use the original packaging or packaging that is especially suited to transport or storage.
Intended Use
- The product may only be operated with a mains voltage of 230V ~ / 50 Hz.
- The lamp is suitable for indoor use.
- All applicable regulations for the installation of cables must be strictly adhered to.
- This unit may only be operated at altitudes of up to 2000 m above sea level.
- Avoid any shocks or violent impacts when installing or operating the device.
Make sure that there are no cables lying around. You are endangering your own safety and that of others!
Any use other than which is specified is not permitted! Modifications can lead to damage to this product and can result in hazards, such as short circuits, fires, electric shocks, etc.. Any harm to persons and property arising from improper use is not the responsibility of the manufacturer, but that of the operator. Connecting the lamp
Before first use, please check whether there is any transport damage evident.
Should you notice any damage to the power lead or the mount, do not operate
the unit and immediately contact your dealer. The connections should be made
to a standard 230V~ household electricity supply line whose voltage and
frequency exactly matches the nameplate on the equipment. Wrong voltages or
power sockets can result in the unit being destroyed and in fatal electrical
shocks. The unit starts to operate when you have connected it to the power
supply, According to DIN VDE 0100-715, connections to suspended cables must
use screw-type clamping units according to DIN EN 60998-2-1 (VDE 0613-2-1 DIN)
or screwless-type clamping units according to DIN EN60998-2-2 (DIN
VDE0613-2-2). Connecting lights with counterweights, crocodile clips or
similar elements does not create a continuous and safe electrical connection
and is therefore not allowed. Insulation displacement connectors may also not
be used. Terminals and connections must be made such that a short circuit
is not possible. Installation within luminaires must be made according to VDE
regulations with heat-resistant cables with silicone or Teflon sheaths.
Silicone tubing must be pulled over individual wires in the mounts and cable
entries. In the case of lamp pendants, take care to use a suitable ceiling
mounting. This includes appropriate fixing materials and an additional strain
relief (three-hole clamp) for the electrical leads.
During operation
- If you use LED lamps: Never look directly into the LED spotlight to avoid damage to the eyes.
- Caution, your eyesight may be damaged!
Beware of overheating and fire hazards!
Due to the heat generated by the light source, the lamp must not be covered
when it is operating.

The unit should be cleaned of any contamination such as dust, etc. When
cleaning, use a lint-free moistened cloth. Never use alcohol or solvents!
There are no serviceable parts inside the unit. Maintenance and service
operations may only be carried out by authorised specialist dealers!
