Product Usage Instructions
Intended Use
Karoo is designed to be used as a bike computer for navigation assistance and data recording on bicycles.
Charge Device Battery
- Remove the USB-C cover.
- Plug the included USB-C cord into the device charge port and a wall charger or computer.
- Unplug the USB-C cord when the battery is charged to 100%.
- Reinstall the USB-C cover.
NOTICE: Do not charge Karoo if water is present under the USB-C cover or in the USB-C charge port. Allow Karoo and the USB-C port to dry before charging. To avoid permanent damage to the battery, do not store the device at 0% charge. Charge the battery to 30% – 80% for long-term device storage (1 month or more). Check and charge the battery as needed, once per month.

- Verwijder het USB-C-kapje.
- Sluit de inbegrepen USB-C-kabel aan op de oplaadaansluiting van het apparaat en een wandlader of computer.
- Ontkoppel de USB-C-kabel wanneer de batterij 100 % is opgeladen.

Charge Device Battery

Power On and Getting Started

Press and hold the power button 2-4 seconds until the device turns on.

Start and End a Ride

Swipe to the preferred Profile from the Home Screen.

Tap on the yellow ‘Start Ride’ ► arrow icon, or the Bottom Right button, to start the ride.

To end and save a ride, tap the ▌▌, or press the Bottom Right button. This will pause the ride.

Tap the yellow ▦ icon or press the Bottom Left button. ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO END YOUR RIDE? Tap the yellow ▦ icon, or press the Bottom Right button to confirm.
Update Software
By default, software is updated automatically when connected to WiFi. If Auto-
Download is disabled, updates can be downloaded manually:
From Home screen:
Menu » Settings » System Update » Check for Update (follow prompts if new
version is available)
Buttons and Charge Port

USB-C Charge Port/Cover
Install Mount
- Unthread the clamp bolt (3 mm hex) and open the clamp.
- Position the mount onto the handlebar and close the clamp.
- Install and tighten the clamp bolt (3 mm hex).
Hammerhead Mounting System
- To install, slide the Karoo onto the mount until a click is heard. The click confirms that it is locked into place.
- To remove, firmly rotate the Karoo 15º left or right until a double-click is heard, then slide the device off of the mount.
Install Quarter Turn Adapter (optional)

To install, slide the adapter into the underside of the device until a click is heard. The click confirms that it is locked into place.

To remove the adapter, lift both tabs on the tail evenly and firmly push the adapter out of the device with your thumb.
