Instructions for use

  • Do not pour surplus liquid out of the container. Mix it back into a paste.
  • Mix MiYO Color, MiYO Structure and Glaze Paste thoroughly with a metal-free spatula before each use.
  • The pastes must not come into contact with water.
  • Always use a clean and dry brush.

Preparation

  • Framework preparation: in accordance with the manufacturer‘s instructions (see notes in the MiYO Workbook p. 19).
  • Before applying the material, the surface must be clean and free of surface contamination.

Application

  • Apply material to the prepared surface according to its purpose and required effect.

Storage and disposal

  • Store in a dry place.
  • Small quantities can be deposited in household waste. Remaining stocks or removed restorations must be disposed in accordance with national legal requirements.

  • The !ring temperatures are standard values and may vary depending on the type of furnace and the size (volume) of the restoration.
    ** Depending on the desired shine, holding time should be 30 – 60 seconds.

Application of MiYO pink masses

Translucent base colors for large gingival areas.|

Translucent base shade for orange gingival areas.|
Bluish color for veins|
Red color paste pure or to mix for shading.|
Non-“uorescent opaque color materials for individualization in and on the translucent gingival materials.|
Pure black to customise MiYO pink masses.|
Powder for insertion into the transparent materials.|
Dark pink structure material.|
Brownish-reddish structure material.|
Whitish-pink Structure material – e.g. for shaping the lip frenulum.|

Application of MiYO masses

To characterize the basic Vita Classic colors.|

For individualizing the cervical area.|
For individualizing the interproximal area.|
Reduce brightness value and achieve a depth effect.|
Increase brightness value without losing translucency.|
Modify color pastes to a warm, soft base color.|
Modi!es color pastes into reddish/ purple.|
Imitate natural mamelons.|
Imitate the halo effect in the incisal area.|
Imitate enamel defects, calcium stains, chalk-colored cusp tips/ slopes.|
Generate „broken“ whitening effects like cracks lines or discoloration.|
Color powder to imitate !ssures or colored pits.|
For individualizing MiYO Color pastes.|
To reduce the brightness value with a higher intensity.|
Structure pastes to build up the form and characterize the surface texture.|
High fusing structure pastes for restorations with large volume and more “exiblity for firing.|
