Upgrading Instructions:
DLink AP supports firmware upgrading via Web UI . You may download the firmware from D Link web site http://tsd.dlink.com.tw Please also
- M ake sure y our DAP 26 62 has a manually assign ed static IPv4 address or get a valid IPv4 address from DHCP server befor e upgrad ing FW
- Do not power off your DAP 2662 when FW upgrading.
- U p grade to the intermediate FW DAP 2662_firmware_v1.05p02r081.bin ) first and then upgrade to FW DAP 2662_firmware_v1.05r083.bin
Upgrading by using Web UI
- Connect a workstation to the LAN port of Access Point.
- Open the web browser of workstation and entering the IP address of the AP . The system default IP address setting is dynamic ip, and you can enter http://dap2662.local to login, if it c annot get ip address from DHCP server, it’s ip address will back to 1 92.168.0.50
- Enter administrator’s username and password, username and password are admin by default
To update the AP ‘s firmware, click Maintenance Firmware and SSL Certification Up load F W upgrade step s
i. U p grade intermediate FW –> “DAP 2662_firmware_v1.05p02r081.bin”
ii. Up grade to FW –> “DAP 2662_firmware_v1.05r083.bin”

| 1. Fix session timeout issue (When client disconnect manually and reconnect before session expire, so no captive portal is performed), of client having infinite session time.
2. Fix captive portal [radius authentication] failure and its session timeout issue.

5. Fix captive session timeout not working if session time is not specified.
