Depends on your drive’s size and format. You must need a powered USB hub to power a thumb drive larger than 32 GB. Larger storage devices can’t operate since the projector doesn’t have enough power to do so. Hub power fixes that. In terms of formatting, I’m fairly certain exFAT is not supported. Among which the newest storage devices are available. ExFAT is not supported by even Roku. In order to avoid this, reformat it, and purchase a powered USB hub.
