PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS

POWER SUPPLY

  • Insert the AC adaptor into a 120V AC – 60Hz mains outlet and the other end of the cord into the DC 5V Jack on the back of the unit.

TIME SETUP

  • Press and hold the TIME button for 2 seconds to activate the time setting, and HOUR will flash.
  • Press the “-” or”+” buttons to the correct HOUR, and the PM indicator will light when the HOUR is advanced into PM time.
  • Press the TIME button to confirm HOUR, MINUTES will begin to flash.
  • Press the “-” or”+” buttons to the correct MINUTE.
  • Press the TIME button to confirm and save time setting. The display will stop flashing.
  • NOTE: To switch between a 12 or 24-hour TIME display press the TIME button after the time setup is complete, the default is 12-hour standard.

DUAL ALARM SETUP

  • Press and hold the ALARM 1 or 2 button for 2 seconds to activate the ALARM 1 or 2 sets, HOUR & or will flash.
  • Press the – or + buttons to the correct HOUR, and the PM indicator will light when the HOUR is advanced into PM time.
  • Press the ALARM 1 or 2 button to confirm HOUR, MINUTES will begin to flash.
  • Press the- or + buttons to the correct MINUTE.
  • Press the ALARM 1 or 2 button to confirm the time.
  • Select BEEP or SOUND using the – or + buttons and press the ALARM 1 or 2 buttons to confirm the alarm type. The display will stop flashing.
  • NOTE: If SOUND is confirmed the last played sound and max volume will be used for the alarm.

USING THE DUAL ALARM

  • Press the ALARM 1 or 2 button to activate ALARM 1 or 2 and the ‘ or indicator will appear.
  • Press the ALARM 1 or 2 button again to deactivate ALARM 1 or 2 and the ‘ or indicator will disappear.

NOTE: The default is OFF setting. When the alarm sounds, it will continue for 1 minute. Then the alarm will switch off automatically to conserve power if battery backup is use.

12 OR 24-HOUR DISPLAY

  • In time mode, press the TIME button to select 12 or 24-HOUR TIME mode.
  • NOTE: The default is the 12-hour display mode.

USING THE SNOOZE

  • Press the SNOOZE/DIMMER/SLEEP button after the alarm sounds will cause the alarm to pause and the alarm will sound again in 5 minutes.
  • This will repeat each time the SNOOZE/DIMMER/SLEEP button is pressed. The snooze indicator” 2z “will flash when snooze is activated.

USING THE BACKLIGHT

  • While the alarm is not sounding, press the SNOOZE/DIMMER/SLEEP button to control the brightness of the backlight.
  • There are 4 stages of brightness (100% / 70% / 30% and OFF).

NOTE: The default display brightness is 100%.

PLAYING SOOTHING SOUNDS

  • Press the SOUND button to play a soothing sleep sound.
  • Press the SOUND button again to cycle through other sounds. (Rain/ Ocean/ Brook/ White Noise/ Thunderstorm/ Rainforest/ Fan/ Campfire)
  • While sound is playing you can use the “-” or”+” buttons to adjust sound volume.
  • To turn it off, press and hold the SOUND button for 2 seconds.

NOTE: Your last played sound and max volume level will be used if the alarm is set to wake to sound. The soothing sound will be non-stop playing if the user does not set a Sleep timer.

SETTING SLEEP FUNCTION: SOOTHING SOUNDS

  • While the sound is playing, press and hold the SNOOZE/DIMMER/SLEEP button for 2 seconds to enter sleep mode at a 60-minute countdown.
  • Press the SNOOZE/DIMMER/SLEEP button again to select the countdown time (60 – 45 -30 -15 – OFF, mins).
  • To Stop SLEEP mode, press the SNOOZE/ DIMMER/ SLEEP button again.

NOTE: When sleep time is done being adjusted it will jump back to the time after 5 seconds.

USING THE PROJECTOR FEATURE

  • While the projector is OFF, press the PROJECTOR button to activate the projection time for 5 seconds. This offers a quick glance at the time on the ceiling; the room must be dark to see the projected image.
  • Press and hold the PROJECTOR button for 2 seconds to switch on this function continuously.
  • Press and hold the PROJECTOR button again for 2 seconds to switch off.

NOTE: The default is OFF setting.

BATTERY BACKUP

  • Remove the BATTERY door and insert 2 new “AAA” batteries (not included) in the direction of the polarity symbols. Please make sure the batteries are new and inserted correctly.
  • Backup battery power only supports the storing of TIME, ALARM 1, ALARM 2, and PROJECTION ( 5 seconds ).
  • If there is no battery and the power is interrupted, the display will show 12:00 and the ALARM / TIME will need to be reset.

NOTE: The display will not be lit under battery backup. However, the alarm will continue to function at its set time.

BATTERY WARNING

  • Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. Follow the polarity(+) and (-) to place the battery.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix Alkaline, Standard (Carbon – Zinc), or Rechargeable (Nickel – Cadmium) batteries.
  • Incorrect battery placement will damage the dock movement and the battery may leak.
  • Exhausted battery is to be removed from the product.
  • Remove batteries from equipment that is not to be used for an extended period of time.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. Batteries may explode or leak.

CARE OF YOUR CLOCK

  • Replace the backup battery annually, or store the clock without a battery when not in use. A soft cloth or a paper towel may be used to clean your clock. Do not use any corrosive cleaner or chemical solutions on the clock. Keep the clock clean and dry to avoid any problems.

M.Z. Berger & Company warrants the original consumer purchaser of this product that it shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the purchase date of this product. Defects caused by tampering, improper use, unauthorized modifications or repairs, immersion in water, or abuse are not covered by this warranty. You must include a Proof of Purchase, either the original receipt or a photocopy, and a check or money order for USO $6.00 to cover the cost of handling. Also include your return address inside the package. M.Z. Berger will repair or replace the clock and return it to you. M.Z. Berger will not be liable for any loss or damage, including incidental or consequential damages of any kind; from any breach of warranty either expressed or implied relating to the product. Since some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, this limitation may not apply to you.
