Product Usage Instructions

1. Set-up: Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface, in PARK with the emergency brake ON. Wear safety glasses.
2. Removing the Plastic Trim Cover: Gently remove the plastic trim covers around the front tow hooks to access the bumper bolts.
3. Where to Drill: Use the templates provided to mark the center point for drilling. Double-check alignment before drilling.
4. Drilling the Hole: Prop up and level out the part using pieces of wood. Ensure correct drill angle and position before drilling. Use the tow hook’s flat surface as a reference point.
5. Removing the Lower Bumper Bolts: Using an 18mm socket, remove the bolts on each side.

Note: Locking hardware for lights and light bar is recommended and available through us.

TOOLS REQUIRED

• 18MM Socket
• Wrench & 2” Hole Saw Bit
• Drill

Tech Tip: This is the best time to install the lights (of your choice) onto the light bar to make sure everything fits correctly.

INSTALATION INSTRUCTION

1. SET-UP:
   Ensure the vehicle is placed on a level surface, with the transmission in PARK, the tyres chocked, and the emergency brake ON. (Wear safety glasses from this point forward.)

2. REMOVING THE PLASTIC TRIM COVER TO ACCESS THE BUMPER BOLTS:
   The factory front bumper bolts are located on either side of the factory tow hooks, in sets of two.
   GENTLY : Remove the plastic trim covers (driver side & passenger side) around the front tow hooks (shown in the diagram below). There are plastic clips holding them in place.

3. WHERE TO DRILL:

   • If you are handy you can easily do this, or have your buddy help you! While the plastic bumper valances are off the truck, use the templates provided with these instructions to find and mark your centre point to drill.
   • Cut the templates out provided on page 2. Then place them into the proper sides, driver & passenger side (A).
   • Use the bottom & outside edge with the small radius as your guide, to square the templates up properly. MARK THE CENTER POINT TO BE DRILL (B).
   • Double-check alignment and placement before drilling.
   • Using a smaller drill bit as a pilot hole guide, check your hole placement by re-installing the part. Make sure the pilot hole lines up with the centre of your lower bumper bolts.**

4. DRILLING THE HOLE:

   • We recommend using pieces of wood to prop up and level out the part, as shown in the diagram below. Use the flat surface where the tow hooks go through as your reference point (C), allowing the end of the valance to hang off the edge.
   • BEFORE DRILLING: double-check your drill angle & position (D). Use the tow hook’s flat surface area as your reference point, so that you don’t end up cutting over too far. Align your 2” hole saw bit as the diagram (D), see the next step and example below as a reference guide.
   • The 2” hole saw cut should end up looking like this diagram (E).
   • Notice the margin in between the white-dashed lines. (E)
   • You want to have enough left to keep the part complete and in one piece as shown (C).
   • Take a piece of sandpaper and clean up any rough edge from the hole saw bit.

5. REMOVING THE LOWER BUMPER BOLTS ON EACH SIDE:
   Using an 18mm socket, remove the bolts as shown in the diagram below as the (❌ ).

6. RE-INSTALL PLASTIC PIECES:
   Check to make sure the factory metal clips are all still attached to the parts, then align accordingly and snap them back into place.
   Blue Masking Tape: is recommended along bumper surfaces, near where the light bar will be attached to prevent any accidental scratches.

7. INSTALLING THE LIGHT BAR:
   Lift the light bar (with lights securely attached) into place so that it is lined up with the
   factory bumper bolt holes. Then, hand thread the 18mm bumper bolts back into place to prevent cross-threading. Before tightening down the bolts completely be sure to connect any plugs/wiring to the lights.
