OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
HOW TO OPERATE YOUR HAIR SETTER
- Place the hair setter on a firm, flat surface. With the lid closed, plug the cord into the outlet. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
- Never leave your hair setter plugged in and unattended. Always unplug the hair setter when not in use. Allow the hair setter to cool down after use. Store the unit in a safe place.
- When using the hair setter, your hair should be clean and dry (or slightly damp), never wet.
- Once plugged in, the red light will go on and the rollers will heat up quickly. Rollers are ready to use when the ready dot on the setter turns white. (Please refer to HOW TO
STYLE YOUR HAIR for further instruction.)
HOW TO STYLE YOUR HAIR
- Place the ends of the hair on a roller and wind toward the scalp. Roll hair up firmly. The open plastic clip, position it on the roller and gently slide the plastic clip toward the scalp for a firm hold. Do not place plastic clips in the roller slit.
- The curl is determined by the temperature and the length of time the roller is left in your hair.
- Leave rollers in hair for 10 minutes, or until rollers are cool, before removing.
- Removing roller: When the roller cools, hold the roller in one hand and remove the plastic clip with the other. Then gently remove from hair (do not pull) and let hair bounce back after the roller has been completely removed. Let cool for one minute and then style your hair. These hot rollers are 2 inches in diameter, which helps smooth and add volume to your hair.
IMPORTANT: After using the hair setter several times, you will find the
best timing for the texture of your hair and for the result you desire.
Jumbo rollers create smooth, sleek lines for softer, sophisticated hairstyles,
and add volume.
STYLING TIPS
For soft curls and waves, use one or two rollers on the top front layer of
your hair. Use the remaining rollers on the sides and back of the head. The
hair should be taken in equal
sections and rolled under, toward your neck. After 8 to 10 minutes, the
rollers can be removed. Let hair cool for one minute and then style.
