Product Usage Instructions

Charging the Power Bank

1. Connect the Type-C connector of the charging cable to the backside of The Comfort Gift product label.
2. The charging indicator light blinks during charging and when the product is in use. It stays continuously on when the power bank is fully charged.
3. Total charging time is approximately 11 to 12 hours.

Using the Heating Function

1. Push the power button to switch between heat levels.
2. The product has an auto-off function that shuts down after 11 hours.
3. An intelligent overheating protection thermostat temporarily interrupts heat generation if overheating occurs.

Troubleshooting

• Check the connection with the adapter and inspect the cable and adapter for damages.
• Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Refer to www.thecomfortgift.store for troubleshooting instructions.
• Contact The Comfort Gift or an official distributor for further assistance.

Q: Can I use a different power bank with The Comfort Gift?

• A: To extend operating time, you can choose an alternative power bank that meets the specified requirements.
• Ensure the power bank has the correct input and output capacities as mentioned in the specifications above.

Important instructions

Product information

• This heating product is equipped with a carbon fibre infrared heating element and a free power bank (20.000 mAh).
• The adapter provided is suitable for 100 to 240V- AC power supplies (50/60 Hz).

WARNING

• Only use the AC wall charger included in The Comfort Gift. This AC adapter can only be used to directly power The Comfort Gift cushion and charge the Power Bank that is included (free of charge) via the product electronics.
• Follow the charging instructions in the ‘charging’ chapter. If in doubt about technical safety, do not use the product.
• Do not expose the product to excessive heat from other heat sources.
• The product is intended for indoor use but can be used outdoors using the power bank and without the adapter.
• Protect it against water and store it inside after use.
• Do not fold the product.
• Do not open the product or the power bank.
• You can use the device at an input voltage range between 100-240 volts.
• Operating the device outside the voltage range of 100-240 volts may result in the product not functioning properly or even damaging the device.
• Inspect the charging cable before use for any damage.
• If the battery is swollen or damaged, do not use it.
• NOTE: The AC wall charger provided with The Comfort Gift cannot be used to charge other power banks.

Charging Instructions

Charging

• Connect the Type-C connector of the charging cable to the backside of The Comfort Gift product label.
• The charging indicator light is blinking when the power bank is charging and/or the product is in use.
• The light is continuously on when the power bank is fully charged.
• The total charging time is approximately 11 to 12 hours.

Power bank

• The control system only supports the power bank provided with The Comfort Gift.
• The control system of The Comfort Gift does not support charging power banks from other brands.

Note:

• The wall charger is only to be used in combination with the free power bank.
• The wall charger can’t be used to charge other power banks, other than the power bank provided by The Comfort Gift.

Important:

• Using a different wall charger may cause irreparable damage to the product and the environment and can be dangerous.

Use of alternative power banks

• To extend the operating time of The Comfort Gift, you can choose to use an alternative power bank.
• Choose a power bank that is suitable for The

Comfort Gift based on the specifications below:

• Input USB-C DC 5V-2.0A (Max.)
• Output USB-A1/USB-A2/Type-C: DC 5V=2.1A (Max.)
• Output capacity: 5V-2.4A (Max.)
• Total input DC 5V-2.0A (Max.)

Note:

• The AC wall charger supplied with The Comfort
• Gift, cannot be used to charge other power banks.
• Do not charge other power banks by connecting them with The Comfort Gift electronics.

Heating

• Turn on the heat by pushing the power button on the top side of The Comfort Gift product label.

The product has 3 heat levels:

• Greenlight = Low
• Yellow light = Mid
• Red light = High
• Push the power button to switch between heat levels.
• The product is equipped with an auto-off function and shuts down automatically after 11 hours.
• Each heating element is equipped with an intelligent overheating protection thermostat that temporarily interrupts the heat generation in case the product becomes overheated.

Cleaning

• Before cleaning, switch off the product and remove the outer cover.
• Clean the outer cover according to the washing instructions on the washing label of the outer cushion.
• Do not wash the inner cushion. Protect the inner cushion and all electronic parts against water.

Functionality issue

• If the heating function does not work: check the connection with the adapter and check the cable and adapter for damages.
• Never attempt to repair the product yourself. Please visit: www.thecomfortgift.store for more troubleshooting instructions.
• Contact The Comfort Gift an official distributor, if you have any other problems.

• This product is subject to the provisions of the WEEE directive. Do not dispose of the product with regular household waste.
• Consult your local waste disposal authorities for information on collecting points for electronic waste products.

Warranty terms

• Local and applicable legislation on the warranty will apply to your purchase.
• The Comfort Gift cannot accept any claims on the warranty in the event of damage or defects caused by abnormal use; operation or treatment of the product in ways that are inconsistent with normal personal or domestic use; repairs of attempts to repair undertaken by any party other than The Comfort Gift.

Power bank compatibility

• The Comfort Gift electronics can be used with other power banks available on the market for discharging.
• Charging of an alternative power bank can only be done by connecting the alternative power bank directly to the charging device.
• The Comfort Gift power adapter does not support the charging of other power banks.
• The Comfort Gift doesn’t support direct charging through The Comfort Gift electronics.
• To charge a power bank from another brand, only use the cables or adapters provided with that power bank.
• A USB-A to USB-C extension cable is provided with
• The Comfort Gift. Using this extension cable provides extra user convenience and you do not need to disconnect this cable for external charging of your power bank.

The Comfort Gift power bank

1. Step 1: Unzip the pillow and take out the USB-A cable.
2. Step 2: Insert the USB-A male connector into one of The Comfort
   • Gift power bank slots:
   • USB OUT1 or
   • USB OUT2 or
3. Step 3: After the power bank is connected, place the power bank in the battery pack compartment on top of the black inner cushion.
4. Place the inner pillow into the cushion cover.
   • After the cushion cover is zipped up, The Comfort Gift is now ready to use.

Other power banks

1. Step 1: Unzip the cushion cover and take out the USB-A cable and the Type-C extension cable of the inner cushion.
2. Step 2: For charging, insert the cable with the USB-A connector of the pillow into the: USB OUT of the alternative power bank.
3. Step 3: The IN/OUT Type-C connector of the extension cable must be inserted into the C port of the alternative power bank.
4. Step 4: After the power bank is connected place it in the battery pack compartment on top of the black inner cushion.

• Place the inner cushion in the cushion cover. After the cushion cover is zipped up, The Comfort Gift is now ready to use.
• Only use a power adapter that meets the specifications of a 5.0V charger for charging.
• If you are using another brand power bank, pressing the button on your power bank will usually activate the device and you can use it to power The Comfort Gift.

Important:

• It is forbidden to charge other power banks directly with The Comfort Gift 5.5V charger.

Assembly instructions

1. Step 1: Open the box and take out the compressed black inner pillow cover.
2. Step 2: Remove the plastic packaging and shake the filling in the pillow until it reaches full volume and the pillow is bulging again.
3. Step 3: Open the zipper of the black inner cover containing the electronics and heating element and place the filling evenly into the inner cover. Close the zipper of the inner cover.
4. Step 4: Make sure that the product label with the ‘on and off button is in the location and direction of the opening.
   • Open the zipper of the outer cover. Fold the inner cushion slightly, push and slide it into the outer cover.
5. Step 5: Pull the label with the electronics of the inner cushion through the opening of the outer cover and press the product label with the Velcro.
   • The image below shows the correct assembly of the product label with the electronics.
6. Step 6: Connect the cables of the electronics according to the instructions ot the power bank, place the power bank into the pocket of the inner pillow and zip up the outer cover.

Congratulations, The Comfort Gift is now ready to use.
