SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • WARNING! DO NOT operate using flammable liquids in a confined space, the area should have adequate ventilation.
  • If pumping flammable liquids, avoid proximity to naked flames or welding operations.
  • Wear appropriate protective clothing when pumping solvents. We recommend eye/face and hand protection, available from your authorized Sealey dealer.
  • Ensure Health & Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using this equipment.
  • Ensure spillages are dealt with immediately. Failure to do so could lead to personal injury or damage to the environment and possible prosecution by the authorities.
  • Keep children away from areas where solvents are being used.

Specification

Brass-constructed pump suitable for siphoning a variety of fluids including oils, coolants, transmission fluid, diesel, and antifreeze. Fitted with removable neoprene end caps. Supplied with 1m x 6mm intake hose and 600mm x 12mm discharge hose. Ideal for draining gearboxes and differentials. Delivers approximately 100ml per stroke.

Assembly / operation

  1. Insert the 600x12mm discharge hose to the outlet (fig.1A).
  2. Insert the 1000x6mm intake hose to the inlet (fig.1B).
  3. Ensure the discharge hose is placed into a container suitable for the substance and quantity to be transferred.
  4. Raise and compress the handle (fig.1C), fluid should begin to flow after 3 strokes.
