!!! READ ALL INSTRUCTION THROUGHLY BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN COSTLY ENGINE AND/OR SYSTEM DAMAGE!!!
IF UNSURE ABOUT EXHAUST SYSTEM INSTALLATION PLEASE HAVE A REPUTABLE PERFORMANCE SHOP OR A LICENCED MECHANIC INSTALL THIS SYSTEM
FOR YOUR SAFETY, ALLOW ENGINE TO COOL FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION
PLEASE CHECK AND MAKE SURE ALL HARDWARE IS PRESENT BEFORE INSTALLATION. PARTS LIST ON LAST PAGE

Exhaust hanger removal tool

REMOVAL OF STOCK EXHUAST AND INSTALLATION OF EXHAUST SYSTEM

Locate a flat surface and place the car on jack stands.
Remove undertray hardware as shown in PHOTO A. There are eight (8) bolts in total.
To gain some clearance for working on the front pipe, the lower panel will be partially removed. Remove four (4) M6 bolts securing lower panel to chassis. PHOTO B.
Remove one (1) plastic retaining clip securing panel to chassis. PHOTO C. This will be found behind the driver’s side tire. Repeat for passenger side.
Remove three (3) M10 nuts securing front pipe to the OEM down pipe. PHOTO D. Be aware that on some vehicles the studs may come out with nuts. If needed, you can use our hardware in place of the OEM studs when reinstalling the front pipe
Remove three (3) M10 nuts securing front pipe to the exhaust. PHOTO E
Remove front pipe rubber exhaust hanger from the subframe exhaust hanger. PHOTO F Use lubricant and the exhaust hanger tool to prevent tearing, this item will be used later
Carefully remove OEM front pipe.
Remove rubber hanger from OEM front pipe. Use lubricant and the exhaust hanger tool to prevent tearing, this item will be used later
Install OEM rubber hanger onto DC Sports Front Pipe as shown. PHOTO G. Be sure to use plenty of lubricant to prevent tearing
Install gasket D000303-453 into recessed pocket on DC Sports Front pipe. PHOTO H Get DC Sports front pipe started on downpipe studs or with replacement bolts. DO NOT TIGHTEN THEM.
Once installed partially into place the rubber exhaust hanger can be attached to the subframe exhaust hanger.
Be sure to use plenty of lubricant to prevent tearing
Loosely snug the 3 bolts connecting the front pipe to the downpipe. PHOTO I DO NOT TIGHTEN.
Install gasket D000302-208 between DC Sports Front Pipe and your exhaust, then install the provided hardware.
PHOTO J We recommend adding a small bit of anti-seize to each of the bolts before installing
Go back and fully tighten down all hardware.
Once fully installed, check the clearance of the front pipe around the oil pan and heatshields. If your piping or flex section are contacting any portion of the engine or chassis, please stop and contact us immediately.
RECHECK ALL YOUR WORK!
USING HOT SOAP AND WATER, THOROUGHLY CLEAN ENTIRE EXHUAST SYTEM TO CLEAR IT OF ANY HANDPRINTS, OIL, DIRT & DEBRIS. DC Sports will not warranty finish of piping due to lack of proper clean up.
Reinstall lower panel
Reinstall undertray

NOTE: AFTER 50 MILES OF DRIVING, PLEASE RETIGHTEN ALL CLAMPS AND HARDWARE

LIMITED 1 YEAR WARRANTY

DC Sports only warranties exhaust systems due to poor workmanship. We do not cover normal wear and tear damages due to misuse or abuse.
Warranty covers the original owner of exhaust system by having proof of purchase.
We have the right to void all warranty if you cannot provide the information needed by DC Sports.
DC Sports does not cover any cost for installation or removal of products.
CAUTION
DC Sports exhaust systems are designed to be used with all OEM equipment. DC Sports will not be held liable for sound, performance, fitment issues, damage or any other complications caused by using additional aftermarket components such as downpipes, cat deletes, test pipes etc.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

All warranty claims must be shipped prepaid by the customer to DC Sports.
Warranty claims must have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number on the box. If not, package will be refused and sent back to the shipper.
