Warranty
This product comes with a limited 1-year warranty provided by DC  Sports. The warranty covers exhaust systems due to poor workmanship. Normal wear and tear damages caused by misuse or abuse are not covered. To claim the warranty, you need to be the original owner of the exhaust system and provide proof of purchase. DC Sports reserves the right to void the warranty if the required information is not provided. Please note that the warranty does not cover any costs associated with installation or removal of the product.

Removal of Stock Exhaust and Installation of Exhaust System

1. Utilize a flat work area, preferably on concrete.
2. Jack up the car and support it on jack stands under the frame support points. Refer to your owner’s manual for the correct support points. Do not use the jack to support the car while working underneath.
3. Allow the engine to cool for at least an hour before beginning the installation for safety reasons.
4. Make sure all hardware is present before installation. Refer to the parts list provided.
5. Using the appropriate tools, remove the stock exhaust system.
6. Install the DC Sports Single Canister Cat back Exhaust system by following the provided instructions or consulting a reputable performance shop or licensed mechanic if unsure about the installation process.
7. Ensure that all clamps are properly tightened. Do not use an impact on clamps.
8. If the muffler is not in the desired location, loosen the clamps, adjust as needed, and retighten the rear clamp.
9. Double-check all work to ensure proper installation.
10. Wipe the exhaust clear of all fingerprints, oil, dirt, and debris before starting up.
11. After approximately 500 miles (800km), re-check the exhaust system bolts and nuts and tighten as needed.

• IF UNSURE ABOUT EXHAUST SYSTEM INSTALLATION PLEASE HAVE A REPUTABLE PERFORMANCE SHOP OR A LICENCED MECHANIC INSTALL THIS SYSTEM
• FOR YOUR SAFETY, ALLOW ENGINE TO COOL FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION
• PLEASE CHECK AND MAKE SURE ALL HARDWARE IS PRESENT BEFORE INSTALLATION. PARTS LIST ON LAST PAGE

TOOLS REQUIRERD

• 3/8 Socket wrench, 14mm Socket, 13mm socket, 12 mm Socket,
• Exhaust hanger removal Tool

REMOVAL OF STOCK EXHUAST AND INSTALLATION OF EXHAUST SYSTEM

1. Utilizing a flat work area (preferably on concrete), jack up the car and support the car on jack stands under the frame support points. (Refer to your owner’s manual) DO NOT USE THE JACK TO SUPPORT THE CAR WHILE WORKING UNDERNEATH
2. Remove three (3) M10 nuts securing the OEM piping to the catalytic converter
3. Remove two (2) M8 spring bolts securing muffler to piping.
4. Using an exhaust hanger removal tool dislodge piping from rubber exhaust hangers. Remove piping.
5. Using an exhaust hanger removal tool dislodge OEM muffler from hangers and remove muffler.
6. Remove OEM crush ring from the back of the catalytic converter and replace it with gasket RM-CB85.
7. Install SCS7048 front piping onto catalytic converted using provided hardware and gaskets.
8. Lubricate OEM rubber hangers and reinstall them onto the DC Sports Exhaust System.
9. Install clamps, remaining piping and SCS7048 muffler. DO NOT TIGHTEN CLAMPS
10. Position piping and muffler into place. Make sure piping does not contact heatshields or chassis. Check muffler location, once everything is in the desired location, tighten all clamps. DO NOT USE AN IMPACT ON CLAMPS
11. If muffler is not in desired location, lessen clamps, adjust as needed and retighten rear clamp.
12. DOUBLE CHECK ALL WORK
13. Be sure to wipe exhaust clear of all fingerprints, oil, dirt and debris before starting up.
14. After approximately 500 miles (800km) re-check the exhaust system bolts and nuts and tighten as needed.

LIMITED 1 YEAR WARRANTY

• DC Sports only warranty’s exhaust systems due to poor workmanship. We do not cover normal wear and tear damages due to misuse or abuse.
• Warranty covers the original owner of exhaust system by having proof of purchase.
• We have the right to void all warranty if you cannot provide the information needed by DC Sports.
• DC Sports does not cover any cost for installation or removal of products.
